foot. gun. SHOOT!

2012-07-19 12:53:24 AM
Attorneys: Yeah, let's allow our client to speak on Hannity. Letting Sandusky be interviewed by Bob Costas worked out so well for him. Folks, this is legal malpractice at an appalling level.

Wow, what a sociopath.

Oh yeah, he's was totally just standing his ground, there. God's plan? Loon.

After all the shiat he's endured, he'd do it all over again because, well, God entrusted him with that job and it'd be wrong not to.

I don't even know what to think about that.

Probably brain damage from being born with a severe case of foot in mouth disease.

Seriously, Zimmerman had hard evidence of a clean shooting on his hands. (Well, face and head) He could be out of jail right now living privately and comfortably secure in the knowledge he was gonna walk after this trial.

Instead... this.

Actually, the interview went quite well. Zimmerman was very believable.

Indeed, he kept not being black throughout the interview.

Well, if Zimmerman isn't charged for the shooting, he should be committed.

Key word in Fox interview: God, guns

Zimmerman now has instant support from the crackpot crowd.

Not to mention more $$ from the billionaire fundies.

I was really hoping I heard that wrong this morning on the news. Only thing left is go the insanity plea.

Wow. He pretty much convicted himself with this one I think.

The scariest part to me is, I think he really believes his bullshiat.

2012-07-19 10:26:35 AM
Oh, so he's pleading insanity then.

Obviously mentally unbalanced, although under the circumstances we can probably safely say Trayvon didn't do anything to diffuse the situation

2012-07-19 10:26:36 AM
So, before I was saying he could probably be convicted on manslaughter, but not on second degree murder. Seems like he's providing enough evidence to convict himself. Well played Z, did not see that coming.

Trayvon's father responds:
Zimmerman said "it was god's plan". Trayvon's father: "We must worship a diff god bc no way that MY God would hv wanted GZ to kill my son."

Hey, Journalists? It's okay to rewrite a quote if it's unintelligible. You don't have to quote abbreviations exactly. How about, "In response, Trayvon's father stated that he must worship a different god than Zimmerman, because his god would not have wanted Zimmerman to kill his son."

Cutting and pasting is scrapbooking, not being a reporter.

2012-07-19 10:27:16 AM
At the very end of the interview, Zimmerman went back to the question and said, "I do wish there was something, anything I could have done that would have put me in the position where I didn't have to take his life.

Oh, if only there was anything that could be done differently, like not getting out of the car, like not chasing down that teenager. But, since it was God's plan, I wouldn't change a thing...

Amazing.

Hold on.

One of the rules in MY Bible (one of the 10 big ones, possibly the BIGGEST) is THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

Seems to me if there is a God, He is particularly pissed when someone blames Him for their terrible sin.

Enjoy Hell, Mr. Zimmerman, because it's your reward after somebody murders you in prison.

So, Zimmerman's lawyers are stupid masochists?

2012-07-19 10:28:22 AM
So, now that the self defense idea didn't pan out, he's going with the insanity plea. What's next plead the 5th? Maybe blame his evil twin with the gotee.

I'm going to become a rich man by opening up a very special kind of legal practise: Please Promise Me You'll Shut The Fark Up LLC.

Our business cards will be plain, bearing only our name and a phone number. When you call my office, the receptionist will answer the phone with the company's seven-word slogan, and use it at the beginning and end of every sentence. A client who refuses to promise to shut the fark up will be charged billable hours until he does.

2012-07-19 10:28:39 AM
He needs new lawyers who will sew his mouth shut and break his fingers so he can't type.

Seriously, WTF?

How has Zimmerman not been assassinated yet? I really am surprised. Not saying it should happen, I just can't believe that it hasn't.

2012-07-19 10:31:06 AM
One of the funnier Demotivational posters carries the caption, "It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others". This more or less sums up Zimmerman at this point, in that he's very clearly illlustrated to all of us why one should unconditionally keep one's mouth shut when dealing with this kind of situation. His lawyers have to be just absolutely pulling their hair out at this point.

At this point, I'd say Zimmerman has basically no chance for an acquittal. But he does have a reasonable hope for a hung jury. All he needs is one Fark Independent type committed to freeing George regardless of the facts to avoid conviction.

If he's so sorry, why hasn't he given any of the money he's raised to Trayvon's family?

Answer: because he's not sorry, and is cashing in on 2nd degree murder because he's a psychopath and a child molester.

Yeah, I just dont' understand lawyers sometimes.

Any lawyer worth his snot should know that there is nothing, absolutely nothing that can be said that would improve your situation. Yeah, the court of public opinion is valuable but, more likely than not, you will end up making things worse than making things better. Especially going on talk shows. These talk show guys are experts at twisting language around to try to trip you up. Their job is to dig. They are probably as good as the lawyers are at getting people to say something stupid/incriminating.

You want to say something? You shouldn't. You really want to say something? You really shouldn't. You really, really want to say something? Fine. you write up a prepared statement and you have that read.

2012-07-19 10:33:45 AM
I get what he is saying. He felt there was nothing wrong with his actions of getting out of a car, running behind a house to see where someone was headed and then returning to his car. If put in the same situation, there's no reason he wouldn't do it again. That may come as a shock to those who think he chased down Martin and was attacked while trying to detain him, but that's not what happened.

Regardless, that isn't something that you should say in a prime time interview when a short call you made to police has been dissected and over-analyzed.

SkinnyHead: Actually, the interview went quite well. Zimmerman was very believable.

Yup, he convinced me that, even knowing that Trayvon wasn't doing anything illegal, he would do it all over again.

"It was all God's plan, and for me to second guess it or judge it...," he said before trailing off. When Hannity asked if there was anything he'd do differently in retrospect, Zimmerman answered, "No, sir."

Sure, he later said:

"I do wish there was something, anything, I could have done that wouldn't have put me in the position where I had to take his life."

Maybe you could have remembered that you're not a cop, stayed in your goddamned truck and not followed him as he "skipped" away?

He also said that Martin was not running away from him in fear, but was "skipping."

every time this guy opens his mouth this incident gets worse and worse.

If I sat on the jury of someone who killed George Zimmerman in cold blood, I would nullify. One who commits vigilante injustice has no just complaint when he himself is targeted for vigilante justice.
