I never ran the 400 hurdles, so I defer to you on that. The 800 was way harder than the 1600 or 3200 though, IMO

Thank goodness I lived in PA where we only had to do 300im in highschool. With respect to the 800 which seems like the biggest head game of a race ever, I cannot imagine something harder than adding 100 meters to that.

/Yes i got destroyed on the last hurdle once. It was awful.

My coach used to describe the 800 as this: Sprint until you cant sprint anymore, then sprint for another 400 meters.
