I would commit multiple acts of murder to get my body to look like hers. How can anyone think that super-thin is more attractive than actual fitness?

Also, loved the hair ribbon.

Yeah, I'm totally in love with her.

HotWingAgenda: Before the slow-mo, she doesn't look like she's hurdling, so much as teleporting through the hurdles.

With the slow-mo (right at crotch level from in front of them, jeez) I forgot to think about running.

All I could think about was what was down under.

She's hot, but hottest hurdler ever?

Subby obviously wasn't at the 2005 Special Olympics qualifier in Raleigh.

Not really. Everything you see here is just reddit plus two days. Seems like it would be an easy way to get easy greens though.

I've gotten with quite a few track girls but never a hurdler. Best were mid-distance girls, but I'm still not convinced hurdlers wouldn't be better.

1) Diving
2) Track
3) Volleyball
4) Swimming
5) Weightlifting
...

95) Softball

150) Shotput

I always believed the 400 hurdles were the hardest eventbin track, but the 800m came in a close second.

I never ran the 400 hurdles, so I defer to you on that. The 800 was way harder than the 1600 or 3200 though, IMO

Thank goodness I lived in PA where we only had to do 300im in highschool. With respect to the 800 which seems like the biggest head game of a race ever, I cannot imagine something harder than adding 100 meters to that.

My coach used to describe the 800 as this: Sprint until you cant sprint anymore, then sprint for another 400 meters.

Try doing the Steeplechase. Those barriers don't give when you catch your trail leg. Trust me, I know.

Not that I could jump well enough to have been picked to run it anyway.

My friend who transitioned from cross country to track did the 800m and the Triple Jump, two of the hardest events in track. He said that the key was taking it 'easy' in the first lap and then burning it down. I think you would almost have to have XC experience to do it well. I did 100m, 200m - I can sprint but have no endurance so 800 and higher was right out.

The only true spectator sport for T&F IMO. Yeah it looks tough and I never want to run 2000m competitively, but it was so rare even in College that I don't consider it. Most the runners I saw compete in it just stepped on it and jumped off.

I ran it pretty regularly in college, 3K steeple. First few laps my form would be fine, by the end it was pretty much do anything to get over the barriers.

/never took a dive in the water jump though

I never caught my trail leg on a hurdle without eating it (though I was really bad), though the fact that you can catch your lead heel on one and knock it out of the way instead of just plowing into it I'm sure helps.

Moving up from the 300 IH to 400 IH was a RUDE awakening when I got to college. I was able to pretty much sprint the full 300, but that last 100 kicked my ass until I learned to change how I raced. My 100 meter splits went up a full second at my best.

During indoor season I'd run either the 500 or 600 dash - which I think is tougher than either the 800 or 400IH. But outdoors, it's probably a wash between the 800 and 400IH.

Serious question about hurdling, from someone who only tried it once or twice in an elementary school PE class: If the two legs have two different functions, how does someone who spends that much time training not wind up with some kind of physical imbalance? Or stress injury?
