Don't worry. After Nolan finishes his Batman franchise, we just have to wait another week or so before Warner announces a plan for re-re-re-reboot. It'll star Channing Tatum as a hip-talkin' 20-something Bruce Wayne, known as "B-Way" to his friends. After some uncool "totes rude" people move into his neighborhood and start robbin' and killin' and stuff, he'll down the cowl and fight them off with his catchphrase, "Batter up!"

Also stay for the soundtrack, featuring Nicki Minaj, Theory of a Deadman, and whoever else the record label decided to shoehorn into the film.

And it'll all be in DBox 3D, directed by Roger Kumble.

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped turned upside down
Joe Chill shot my parents that was really s**ty
that's why I became the Dark Knight of Gotham City

In stately Wayne Manor born and raised
all the money I have, you'd really be amazed
Chillin out, maxin, dressed up real cool
fightin' Two Face, the Penguin and Ra's al-Ghul
And a bunch of other dudes who think they're "all that,"
wearing tights and a cape, dressin' up like a bat
I get in fight after fight, goin' ZAP-SPLAT-KAZAM
and when I'm done I get to say "I'm the Goddam Batman"

They only sell chunky peanut butter. It's overused. It's all up and down the grocery store and nobody wants it. Then you have the fruit cakes that add crushed peanuts to regular peanut butter AFTER the fact, completely ruining it. I'm so pissed. I've never met anyone who likes crunchy peanut butter. (or pickles in their tuna)

Plus, there is very little upside I can tell in films that have 3D. It seems lazy. Directors since film began have been able to create the illusion of depth of field, 3D means all that fancy camera work doesn't have to happen, just point n' shoot.

3D is pretty useless in most pictures. We happened to see Brave in 3D by mistake (wife went into wrong auditorium and then got glasses when she saw everyone else had them). There was absolutely no need of 3D in that show. I'm glad we only payed the 2D price, and truly, I would have rather seen it in 2D.

An example of a move made even more horrible by 3D was the Last Airbender. It was bad enough already, but the horrible 3D made it 93.7% worse.

I think most animated films work well in 3D. Especially if they're not attempting hyper-real imagery. I haven't seen the latest 3D technology... but I saw Superman like 8 or so years ago in 3D. The 3D in the movie sucked.

But the trailer for Happy Feet 3D looked great (though its not a movie I'd actually watch).
