Yeah, those two are the definitive representations of that classic duo, subby. Batman: TAS was probably the best cartoon of the 20th century.

Pleasantly surprised to see that actress that voices Talia is as hot in real life as her character is supposed to be.

Definitely the definitive two. I had seen Hamill doing Joker but I've never seen Conroy all. He's skinnier than I expected. Perfect Batman voice though. I wish Bale had taken notes.

Amazing how he can switch between the Batman voice and the Bruce Wayne voice, the two sound different, and yet neither sounds ridiculous.

Too bad that's the last time Hamill is doing the Joker. It really rips up his throat.

And yeah, you know, they could re-dub the Nolan Batman movies with Conroy's voice over Bale's and it would be 1000% better.

Much as I like Conroy, I've grown accustomed to Bale's "chained animal" approach. The grizzly voice is often what I hear in my head when thinking Batman.

you think thats weird to watch... check out early work from Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn) Link

actually... she kinda fits.

That scene is very early in the game. If you've played for an hour it shouldn't be a spoiler.

While watching those split-screen shots, am I the only one that thought that the Joker was doing Mark Hamill's voice, instead of vice-versa? Man, talk about just nailing a character.

My choice for best Hamil-Joker line ever?

Oh oh oh how I love these two. Their voices are forever etched on my brain in the good way.

Behind all the sturm and batarang, you're just a little boy in a playsuit, crying for mommy and daddy! It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Oh, what the heck, I'll laugh anyway! HA HA HA HA HA HAA!

I'd really suggest listening to Kevin Smith's Fatman on Batman. He has a 2 hour interview with Mark Hamill all about his voice work.

I've said it before, but the best Hamill-Joker line was that last line of dialogue in Arkham City. I won't spoil it for those who haven't beaten the game, but it's good and totally defining of his humor.

Actually, what she did was modify Terry's dad to pass down Bruce's DNA to his children instead of his own. Which means that Terry is biologically Bruce's son, not a clone.

Which means that Terry's kid brother is also Bruce's son. Future Robin maybe?

No doubt. That's who I think of as the REAL Batman and Joker.

When an actor has to deliver his or her lines from behind a mask, having a distinctive and clear voice that can impart feeling is key.

Adam West had it. His Batman had real character beyond the costume because of that voice. Cesar Romero was a good match because he brought a lot of personality too.

Spoil it? I wouldn't worry, the games been out long enough. Besides the line ("Now that is funny!") out of context doesn't really spoil anything.

I think Mark's Joker has a lot of Romero's portrayal in it. Remember, Ceasar was a Shakespearean actor, and used it to convey no small amount of intelligence to it. Not to mention that he looked like he was having a hell of a lot of fun doing it. For me it's Mark and Ceasar at the top. I still think Heath's version wasn't Joker enough. It could have been any madman's plot, just not the Joker we all know and fear.

Watching that made me question the sanity of hollywood. Kevin Conroy is by most standards a fairly handsome guy. Probably looked even better when he started voicing Batman. Why the hell was he never cast to play the goddamn batman in a live action flick at some point?

What the fark are you talking about? which "industry" ? Animation? Hardly... Warner Brothers D.C. animation department is doing the best super hero work in the history of animation over the past 20 years and are still cranking out first rate work (with the sad exception of the Gail Simone penned Wonder Woman... that was grade A Marvel level non-sense)

Do you mean the Comics industry? because frankly... being behind that pandering market driven curve...being "behind" it can only be a good thing.

Out long enough for a GOTY edition to come out I think the sttute of limitations ran out on that one. Besides my favorite line from the entire game is "And why were they in a church?"

Also since they didn't get Arleen to voice Harley in the game at least they got Tara Strong voice of Batgirl to do a pretty good imitation.
