Prediction: The explosions will kill non-important characters and the nudity will be man-ass.

Spoilers:
The show is scared to kill off important characters because they don't know what to do with the show. The deux-ex-machina at the end of the last season was sad, and not killing off Ron Perlman was just a bad move. I love Ron, but it was time for his character to die.

More bikers, totally open to be run off the road, chasing down a car and bullying the driver, despite the driver having the absolute ability to run everyone off the road.

If Opie isn't dead by the end of the season, this show really has no balls. Jax has to kill Opie. And that was possibly the worst season finale of all time, OF ALL TIME.

Why does Jax have to kill Opie? Either I am missing something completely or you're confusing characters.

You have that backwards. Jax is a self-absorbed emo douchebag, and given how many ways the Teller-Morrow clan has farked Opie's family, it would be karmic justice.

I am surprised Clay wasn't killed, but you have to admit Perlman is one of the biggest names attached to the show and if the show plans to only have another season or two, it will be fine...

Jax killing Opie, naaa, although I can see Opie killing Clay.

The fact that Clay didn't die was pretty bad. But the fact that Juice robbed from a cartel and then tried to hang himself and didn't die is so much worse. I mean the tree branch breaking, really?

I still inexplicably like the show despite hating where the character arcs have gone.Clay should have died already. Juice was my favorite char till I watched season 4. Im glad he finally got a story arc but I thought it was dumb. Ditto on the tree branch breaking being dumb too.

I like the show, but how bout some titties or something instead of man ass for the nudity. As far as everyone elses complaints....I still like the show there are things that could have been done differently, but it's still better than 95% of the stuff out there.

This is how the season needs to go:

Jax Kills Clay
Opie Kills Jax
Gemma Kills Opie
Tara Kills Gemma
Lyla and Tara Scissor each other to death

Bobby Elvis becomes the new club President with Tig as his VP and Chibs as Sargeant-at-Arms.

Am I the only one missing why Opie needs to kill Jax? Sure he didn't tell him the truth about Romeo but unless he's bringing up Donna's death, I don't really understand what terminal beef Opie would have.

The other good reason to watch the show is so you can keep track of the creators online freak-outs when his show (which for some reason he thinks is the second coming of The Wire) doesn't get nominated for any awards.

No way in hell is it real. Like the time when the ex member came into the clubhouse and smashed some shiat, yet not a single punch was thrown. Give me a break.

Y'know what bugged me about that segment?

The song "Strange Fruit" starts at the beginning of that scene is a total giveaway. I get the impression that the viewers were supposed to be shocked to find out on the camera panning out to reveal the juice is hanging himself. "Southern trees bear strange fruit...." comes on and the audience (especially music-minded people like me) immediately think "ok. black guy's gonna hang himself". The suspense that they tried to build in that sequence was ruined.

(yes, i love SOA and can't wait for more eps)
(spoiling the scene aside, Katey Segal has a lovely voice and her version of that song was haunting)

The whole "pssst we're with the CIA" thing pissed me off at the end of last season. Aside from that, I don't know of 42 minutes a week that goes by faster than a new SOA episode.

He doesn't have to, really, I was just on a roll...

That said, there's a case that could be made that Jax has lost it (a lot like Clay did) and he needs to be dealt with "for the good of the club" or whatever.

Before last season started a bunch of the cast was in town and they were eating/drinking at where my roomate works. She had a blast with them got pics and everything. Too bad she lost her phone and lost the pics she was pissed. She called me up and had them talking to my drunk ass on the phone it was funny. She had Jax talk to me in his SOA voice and then his british accent it was trippy. I woulda gone to hang out but I was too drunk to drive grrrrrrrr.

Also apparently if you had the closed captioning on, after the reaper logo comes up it describes the sound of a tree branch cracking.

Honestly, I thought the entire Juice side-plot was retarded. So a cop comes and shows him his dad was black. All he had to do was go to the group and say "Hey guys, I just found out my dad is black. Sorry if that pisses anyone off, but I literally just found out and a cop is trying to blackmail me with it." Instead they make it sound like SoA hates those colored folk and don't want anyone with a trace of black ancestry touching their club.

I don't know I would say it is good, but it is not like it is Mad Men good, or Breaking Bad good or even Boardwalk Empire good. It is maybe as good as The Good Wife, but the way he rants about it you would think it is like the greatest show ever to be shown on tv.

I don't know why, but I thought it was almost too obvious that something like that was going to happen.. I knew they got renewed for season 5 and I doubted that Sutter wanted to spend an entire season on the club in a RICO trial.

I have never heard of the biker gangs on this show and I am a born and raised San Diegan that knows quite a few bikers from different clubs and they never heard of them before this show either. Now I see that "Gypsy " clown everywhere. I watched it a few times because I like trying to figure out where they are when they are filming.

Then he has an out. The club wouldn't kill a member for just finding out he's half-black. They can either accept him for who he is, or kick him out. Instead he tries to hide it, becomes a snitch, tries to smuggle a brick of coke, shoots an innocent member in the head 9 times (one of the most brutal killings I've seen on TV btw), tries to commit suicide, then just brushes it under the table.

Remember the former SOA that got his tats burned off in the first season? Yeah Juice doesn't want to end up like that. Shocker I know. I think the arc was drawn out a bit too much, but the whole inner turmoil angle does a pretty good job of explaining how much the club means to the members, Juice especially. That whole theme has been pretty prevalent in the last 2 seasons of the show.

The Killing Season 1 would like a word with you. I put up with the show week after week, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. fark The Killing and fark the showrunners who dragged it out.
