As of 1949, there were just 20 reported residents. Today, there are none.

Why expect the population to double when you can expect it to increase by 1,000,000,000x? Aim high!

The unincorporated town is 29 miles north of Boerne, 10 miles south of Fredericksburg and six miles southwest of Luckenbach.

Ohhhhh! Sure I know just where that is. Nothing to see but dust right?

I have been a firm believer in ghost towns, ever since some cohorts of mine bought Jerome, Arizona for $1 an acre, turned it into an art colony / wild west attraction----and just cleaned up!

Then of course we have Hondo Crouch, who bought Luckenback Texas for $35,000 so he could write his own liquor laws; we all know how that turned out!

Buy your own town? Write your own laws? Come on, Farkers, do I gotta hit you in the head with a mop?

interesting proposition.

How do you sell a town? Who owns it? It's unincorporated. Who can start a town?

Bikinis. a world class destination. WHERE 15 YEAR OLDS CAN LOSE THEIR VIRGINITY

I'm so confused.

The population is going to double... from zero?

Is that the joke?

I live near one of the Bikinis restaurants in Austin, and have been hoping the place burns down ever since it was built. During warm weather, hordes of farkin' motorcyclists descend on the place like locusts on a weekly basis, each and every one of them with a 100 decibel motors. Hopefully, this new Bikinis Mecca will attract all these tards away from my neighborhood.

Now excuse me, I have some clouds to yell at.

Hmm, in TX is prostitution illegal at the state level or is that local city/county level thing?

Because if its local level you could always go with legal brothels as a revenue stream, and TX is much closer to folks back east than NV.

If I ever win the lottery, I am going to buy a ghost town and turn it into a huge lazer tag complex.

I hate to say it, but a big danged "THIS" on both the talent and the prices. Most expensive fun I've had outside Las Vegas.

It's in Hill Country, which looks nothing like that. Not all of Texas looks like just outside of El Paso. Not all of California looks like Needles either. Have you ever seen the movie "Teeth"? That swimming hole in the movie is in Hill Country.

Indeed.....Hill Country is the best spot in Texas, so STAY AWAY FROM IT! (Hamilton Pool anyone?)
