Current Resident: What? No Abey Road?

The Abbey Road cover photo location has remained rock's greatest mystery. Nobody has ever been able to identify the specific site, or even general area, of where the photo was taken. Reportedly Paul McCartney has avowed that he will take the secret to his grave.

I like that in most cases they were able to take the picture to perfectly underlay the album cover continuing the shot

A slideshow that was actually worth the clicks.

Nicely done.

Also, I always assumed the cover of Let it Be was the roof of Paul's home.

That's too bad, I would have liked to go visit the site one day................ If only there were some sort of clues.

If people ever find out where it is, it will become a HUGE attraction. It's not out of the question that tourists will want to have their picture taken crossing the street, constantly.

8 & 9 weren't "album art."

Not necessarily convinced that we've conclusively excluded other possibilities for "After the Gold Rush" and "Highway 61 Revisited."

What about Spinal Tap's "Smell the Glove"?

It would probably become so popular they'd have to install a streaming webcam or something.

Talk to the hot dog vendor on the corner. He has been there for years. He can tell you. His name is Maxwell.
