Can I come for Michelle Wie instead?

Jason Seahorn sure was a pretty girl when he was younger.

Retroactive NCAA sanctions?

My thoughts exactly....

and I had no idea Clayton Kershaw and Matthew Stafford were LL teammates....you just know the coach of that team starts every conversation in a bar saying "yeah, I coached one kid to a Cy Young and another is the QB for the Lions, buy me a drink?"....

/ok, maybe not

Love that Mark Reynolds was already sporting the UVA hat.

I wonder if any of his trophies were for "most strikeouts in a season"?

2012-07-18 10:29:07 AM
Belichick still looks like he has the "I am smarter than you" dbag look

2012-07-18 10:32:26 AM
Aslo, this was found by SI on Sandusky's computer. Except the Michelle Wie one

Probably for his defensive skills.

I didn't know who half of those people were. I'm assuming they're pro baseball players?

Sammy Sosa was a black kid?

Looks like they ran every photo thru Instagram. C'mon a lot of those guys are still playing, it's not like quality photography was invented five years ago.

I thought the same thing after seeing Derek Jeter's picture.

That was way cooler than I expected.

Jeter entered the majors in what, '96? So the picture was probably taken at least 5 years before that. Consumer-quality cameras combined with probably not storing a random 20-year-old picture well...yeah, it's not weird to think that it would look old.

CC Sabathia was 5 years old in this pic:

I like how the Weavers played for the Cards & Angels. Jeff got his WS ring in '06 with St. Louis, and Jered pitches for the LA/OC Angels of Anaheim, California, USA.

2012-07-18 11:07:50 AM
and is it just me or does Jeter have huge farking feet in that picture?

2012-07-18 11:08:25 AM
Also, I'm not so sure what's more cool/odd: that David Wright & B.J. Upton appeared to play for the same team (both from Norfolk, VA, but about 2 years apart), or that two excellent athletes from different pro sports were teammates back in the day (Kershaw & Stafford).

I guess I should have continued past slide 30 before posting that...

I want the car from the Belichick photo.

2012-07-18 11:30:52 AM
So that's what he looked like before he had to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes?

2012-07-18 11:31:37 AM
Dusty Baker made the kid next to him in that photo pitch 75 innings that day.

Sure Sandusky. Come all over all the little league pictures. Have a blast

Cybernetic: I want the car from the Belichick photo.

This. My favourite thing from this slideshow. Big-ass tail wings, whitewall tires, humongous steering wheel, sweet paint/trim detail along the rail and into the partially covered rear wheel well.

No love for the first Little League player in the Hall of Fame?

\also, it dates me to think that it's odd that Michelle Wie's in a Marlins jersey
\\hell, my brother was on the Expos, with clown hat & everything

I am fearful that our O's will not make it thru the weekend with a winning record.

That was really neat. I was surprised that Peyton Manning was actually a cute kid.

I'm not surprised by Dusty Baker's apathetic look. I guess he started showing emotion at a young age.

Chris Drury won a LLWS, along with an NCAA hockey title and a Stanley Cup, and two Olympic silvers.

I don't get the Michelle Wie infatuation. She's not even the best looking Asian girl I've seen this morning.

I'm with you on that. I'm still hopeful of a .500 season, but even the wildcard is fading from sight very fast.

Me either. But she's the best looking asian girl I've seen today who has won several million dollars playing golf. Thus she is notable and included in the slide show.

I think Wright, both Uptons, Ryan Zimmerman and Reynolds were all on the same all-star team around the Norfolk area at one point. Sometime when they were in high school I think.
