He sounds tired of people telling him he was bad at his job.

I'm more surprised he used the word "bloviating".

I like how he said he's trying to regain anonymity in an interview he chose to give.

Bush said that he also believed it was "bad" for the presidency to "have former presidents bloviating, opining and telling people how it ought to be done."

Well...there was no sacrifice in serving the country like he did. How many days did he actively serve in the military?

This country would be covered from Tucson to Tuscaloosa in brush if the President hadn't been down there clearing off the ranch every weekend. God bless you, Sir.

Come on Bush. Come out and tell us you support Romney so much you gave him your staff.

People need to be reminded of your 8 years. Over and over until it hurts.

Considering he gave as much dignity and thought to the executive branch as Darva Conger did to marriage, why shouldn't he keep using her playbook?

I don't think he's more COMPETENT than Romney. I think Romney is plenty competent, he just doesn't want anyone to know his actual agenda. He's trying to be all ninja and doing so very poorly.

That being said, I think he'd make a decent president....for the rich. For the rest of us,not so much.

Obama's not bad for the rich either, but he at least doesn't want to screw over EVERYONE else catering to them.

see, that's what i don't get. the rich have done very well for themselves during obama's first term. hell, the market is DOUBLE where it was at its nadir in march of '09. if it weren't for the GOP's deliberate foot dragging on the economy, we might even be below 8 percent unemployment.

i still maintain that if obama's name were jack smith and he had an (R) next to his name, he'd be lauded as the second reagan with exactly the same policies he's shown so far.

If republicans were even the slightest bit intellectually honest they'd have a much more favorable opinion of Obama than their current derangement. But they're not.

Shut the fark up, you stupid prick. Those eight years weren't so awesome for the rest of us, or the thousands of American soldiers who died because you had daddy issues.

I'm glad he boiled down being President of the United States down to, "I was famous and I was powerful."

If democrats were even the slightest bit intellectually honest Obama would have announced he wasn't running for a second term a year ago, seriously. he's everything you said you hated about the last guy, but on steroids.
a corporatist whore (ACA is but part D writ large and expanded in breadth, a mandate to buy an incredibly overpriced product) who is responsible for expanding wars, abolishing habeas corpus, and an imperial presidency (where he just straight up ignores if not rewrites laws) unmatched since Lincoln.

No.

He had FAR superior handlers and dogs than Romney. Both are socially aloof because of their backgrounds, but Romney was actually (as much as I don't like his practices) a competent businessperson, and Bush turned everything he touched into shiat, like a Bizarro Midas.

This is why you vote. This is why everyone votes. Every year if necessary. Especially this year. Bush Jr Jr is running.

Reminds me of Multiplicity. Bush Original is good. Bush #1 was a decent Governor. Bush #2 ... shiatty President. Bush #3? He likes pizza.
