Not with that random comma in there. Way to ruin it.

You prefer a comma exactly where it should be?

At this point a change of venue is welcome

I wish the family is congregating in York as we speak. and I am in CA. Portland would not be that far from our family's land, well closer than I am now.

Did you want this greenlit now, or would you rather wait until you have more concrete plans?

We should have a Presque Isle, ME party.

Just submit a Fark Party with the location and time (give about 3 weeks notice), then email an admin or Drew to let them know you posted it.

This is all I've done when I've hosted them.

I'm not expecting a huge turnout, but I guess we'll see

I'd go to a Fark ME party.

Where do you want to hold it?

I love Portland. Wait, Maine? Do they have strippers too?

Depends on the time of year. I can be there if it is the summer.

I live in Maine in the summer.

When I was a lad of 10 or 12 the parents drove us kids through New Hampshire and into Maine. They thought it would be amusing to have the kids swim in the ocean. Holy Jesus Joseph and Mary that was the coldest water I can even imagine even after all these years.

I would love to get to Maine this summer. It;s hot as heck here in NC. A nice summer house on Sebago Lake please?

I'm planning on being in York in September, which is a bit late for the party. But I need to swim in the York harbor beach at least once every few years or my soul withers and dies. Kayaking the surf on that beach following a hurricane is the most fun I ever had in my entire life.

austrianett:

I'm all Hansens and Donnells, BTW, on the hill over the harbor beach and down the end of Elm Drive. Where you at? Maybe I can buy you a nice lobster roll at the York Harbor Inn sometime.

As someone who grew up in Brunswick and didn't get to see all the folk I wanted to see when I went there two months ago to spread my mom's ashes, I would take time out of my not-so-awfully-busy days to fly up for a weekend.
