Rufus Lee King: Nidiot: What is the big deal? I've never heard of anyone being killed by an electric fence.Well, yeah, but...Imagine if you had a pacemaker, or something like that. Might turn into a real mess.
Representative of the unwashed masses: 3 months before souped up fence kills Mexican kid and "stand your ground" is claimed?
Staffist: They'll just come in through the windows.
Rufus Lee King: AbbeySomeone: Hey people, there's this thing called awareness, yanno looking at your surroundings and suchOh, don't preach unto me, schmuckface. The farm I was on had the electrified wire on the back of a wooden fence. I was stoned, and wanted to look at the cows, for some reason. Touched the wire, and got lit up like a Christmas tree. robodog: Sgygus: Parts I come from, the ranchers electrify a single strand of a cow fence with a car battery. You forgot to mention the step up transformer, 12V won't make it along miles of fence, let alone do anything to you if you touch it. Also the energized strand has to be isolted from the poles with plastic buffers or else your power just goes to ground and the first one that's not protected (maintaining miles of fence is such a joy).
Cloudchaser Sakonige the Red Wolf: Why were they banned to start with?
