it has been touched on some, but historical context is of the utmost importance when analyzing anything, especially when attempting to critique literature.

Twain attacked racism ingeniously long before enough of the nation chose to address it. Sadly it still persists.

Shakespeare did it, much more subtly, in Shylock's soliloquy on Antonio's anti-Semitism.

He hath disgraced me, and
hindered me half a million; laughed at my losses,
mocked at my gains, scorned my nation, thwarted my
bargains, cooled my friends, heated mine
enemies; and what's his reason? I am a Jew.

Not that Shakespeare loved Jews, but he sure put the finger on why people hated them. Much as Twain knew why his people hated n*ggers.

/I also hate everyone. Makes life easier

Biness: Hickory-smoked: Biness: Thunderpipes: And she is an Obama voter, go figure.

That's a shock. He's the President of the United States of the Offended.

Don't you think you two are being rather disingenuous?

No.

Well, why don't you expand on that concept, and explain what makes Obama the poster child of victimization complex, and not, for example, these guys:
