Hey, that sounds just like that carpet matching the drapes joke.

You ask a girl if her carpet matches her drapes and you're really asking about her pubic hair. It's usually the same color.

The most dangerous accessory in any car is the driver side floor mat. Everytime I go to see my folks, I make sure to pull the damn mat out from under the pedals in their cars.

They have 3 layers of crap. Carpet, carpet mats, and then of course rubber mats to keep the carpet mats from getting dirty.

This. For God's sake, how fat does your foot have to be for you to be unable to push the brake pedal properly?? How can you even fit in the car???

As someone whose Escape rental vehicle was recalled mere hours before leaving for vacation this weekend, I'm not getting a kick out of these replies.

When I was 17, the thick aftermarket rubber floor mat would slide under my pedals all the time in my '82 Dodge Omni. I'd just reach down and pull it back without raising a stink. I don't understand how this was/is an issue for those Prius (and now Escape) drivers...
