CavalierEternal: Are those donations being raised in coordinance with U.S. campaign finance laws?

Do those off-shore bank accounts allow the account holder to avoid being taxed on the account's contents?

There's your difference.

It clearly states its for US citizens living abroad and only US citizens.

Personally I'd rather see foreign money entering our economy than US money exiting.

skullkrusher: physt: Ambivalence: What the hell is a chi-com?

Chi-com is shorthand for "I'm an uneducated Rush ball licker".

Obama is hitting up uneducated Rush ball lickers? The headline even makes less sense now!

Now you're just being more douchy than usual. Chi-Com is a Rush phrase. Using it shows that one is a Rush listener. There... was that simple enough for you?

You make it sound like those are two separate groups.

balloot: Ball Sack Obama: So he is outsourcing his campaign donors? That ought to make for an interesting attack ad.

This is gonna be a looooooong summer.

/ "B...b...but Bush!"

Outsourcing takes an American job and moves it overseas. You can use that word to describe a campaign event in another country, but it just drives home the point that Republicans just don't get why outsourcing hurts people.

Oh, you mean like Ralph Lauren's (Obama donor) outsourcing of the US Olympic uniforms to China?

Gosh, it's almost as if they're two different things.

/subby - you retard

The headline is pretty accurate. It's like the difference between driving to work, and driving to work in a stolen car. Both involve cars, roads, traffic lights, etc, yet the police are only interested in the latter for some reason.

Ball Sack Obama: Facts, Schmacts....

FactCheck to Obama Camp: Your Complaint is All Wet

Yeah, that was torn apart yesterday. Their proof was basically "Well, Romney said he relinquished control, so.... sure, we believe him."

For 2002 Romney had them made in Burma, then one of the world's worst human rights violators.

coeyagi: I don't know, obviously the Swiss are the greatest threat to humanity we've ever known.

My people are Swiss. The greatest threat we pose is to ourselves due to falling off mountains while drunk.

Seriously? He actually says that, like, out loud? I couldn't do that without laughing.

2012-07-16 12:50:28 PM
Wow, I smell a lot of stupidity in that article.

But, then again, Romney's folks are desperate to smear Obama with some of what Romney's already neck-deep in, so I can see this attempt as feasible, if not successful.

Pretty much. I believe the quote was "retroactive retirement" or some such - friggin' hilarious. Romney's campaign can't keep their lies straight, and got caught in a Catch-22 - either Obama's right and he lied during the campaign, or Obama's wrong and he lied to the government. So, like the true coward Romney is, his campaign has straddled the fence once again with this "retroactive retirement" bit.

Who in their right mind would vote this petty Janus into office?

-----------------

Yup. So let's reiterate:

One of Obama's tens of thousands of donors outsourced.
Mitt Romney personally shipped tens of thousands of American jobs (hundreds of thousands?) overseas.

Good luck with that line of attack.

This About That: Chi-coms! There's some name calling I haven't heard in years!

Apparently, my grandfather is back from the dead.

So foreign companies are funding our campaigns which then get pumped into our economy through ad companies and TV and radio stations, while also being taxed? How is that like storing money in foreign countries to avoid taxes?

Should we call them PRiCks instead?

Chi-Coms??

Who wrote that headline? Kevin Siembieda?

I would vote for anybody who could promise SAMAS armor and a high speed transportation plan involving spider skull walkers.

MFL: balloot Tell you what - it has been hilarious watching Republicans flail around looking for something - anything - to try to stop the massive hemorrhaging on Bain

a. Just like War on women
b. Just like Trayvon Martin
c. Just like Gay Marriage
d. Just like Obamacare court ruling
e. Just like Baaaaaiiiiiiiiin

Those republicans are so scared and flailing......It's july and Gallup has the sitting president up +1 OMG!!!!!

Yup - nothing to worry about. Romney is doing great. Just hang out for a few months and get ready to feel the love of the voters in November!
