Hey, John Kerry was a card-carrying member of a socialist organization during the Viet Nam war. He doesn't even deny it! Kerry suckled his socialist leaders for everything from free housing and universal healthcare to free food and entertainment. Romney, on the other hand, had the bootstraps to pay for a private house keeper and laundress out of his family's pocket. Fortitude and self reliance! It's something a socialist like Kerry would never understand.

Clueless is as clueless does, Please...what was that socialist organization?

EnviroDude: That's the point. During the 80's, the democrats were all over the homeless. Even to the point of giving them boxes and carts. Where is the left outrage? Crickets chirping. Only until Jan 2013 when Romney is sworn in.

More people are out of work. More people are on food stamps. More people are homeless. That's why there are beggars on every corner. Thanks democrats!

You know, every time you say something dumb, I think you've hit the bottom. Then you swim to the lowest point of the drain and dig a new hole. Not only is "left outrage" everywhere, I don't see your precious candidates doing anything they could be doing RIGHT NOW to alleviate the problem They just don't want to share credit. That is my outrage: Not that the democrats couldn't be doing more, but the republicans are doing EVEN LESS.

No, it's true. Was actually surprised with the wage they are paying there.

I really don't get it. Why aren't more Americans working at places like that? This is a serious question. I'm a Republican's wet dream. I came from a dirt-poor immigrant family. I served my country. I'm college-educated. In a year, I'll have a Master's and most likely be earning six-figures, boot-strapped like a motherfarker. And I give money and food to homeless people (conservatives like to call this charity). I worked plenty of shiatty jobs, even worked at Burger King. So why aren't Americans working there? Is it the whole Tyler Durden thing? "We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars."

Many hold lower wage jobs, and live frugally. I've switched careers a few times (sans college) and managed to raise a family. I have seen a lot of people who can't show up on time (or at all), who refuse to do the things that need to be done, and wonder why they got canned. Don't wait for your riches, do your job, and pay your bills.

I think you are missing the irony. Look at how many more unemployed and homeless ther are now compared to 3 years ago. Not to mention more on food stamps. Then you consider how democrats advocate to end homeless less and Obama's epiphany, it is funny. Well, kind of sad but this is FARK.

You should have seen the homeless during the Reagan years. What you're seeing now is the results of ordinances republican led city councils are passing that are closing down soup kitchens and prohibiting people from sleeping on park benches, etc...

That's the point. During the 80's, the democrats were all over the homeless. Even to the point of giving them boxes and carts. Where is the left outrage? Crickets chirping. Only until Jan 2013 when Romney is sworn in.

And what if the person who pays rent has six little monsters that break the two toilets which flood and ruin the carpet and floor, and then the water heater breaks, and the front door gets knocked off it's hinge, and the roof starts to leak, and the back window gets a shoe thrown through it all in the same month. Mitt knows the problems of homelessness. He has friends that complain about their servants being homeless and not showing up to work all the time.

Yeah those rich-guy presidential candidates, what the hell do they know about how real people live?

Sabyen91: paygun: President Obama won't be caught criticizing Mitt Romney for arguing that his administration hasn't pulled the economy far enough out of the hole it was in four years ago, the president told CBS News in an exclusive interview, "because if I was in his shoes, I'd be making the same argument."

It's always fun to see Obama say something that would get him labeled as a racist shill for the 1% by his supporters on fark.

I have no idea what you are saying.

The imaginary liberals who live inside his head are shouting again.

I was trying to find the racism. I stretched and stretched. I tried to put myself in the mind of a righty. I couldn't do it. Maybe that is a failure on my part.

Bontesla: FTFA: But the president said what has frustrated him most since coming to office is "not the hard work. It's not the, you know, enormity of the decisions. It's not the pace. It is that I haven't been able to change the atmosphere here in Washington to reflect the decency and common sense of ordinary people - Democrats, Republicans, and independents - who I think just want to see their leadership solve problems. And, you know, there's enough blame to go around for that."

"And do you blame yourself for that?" asked Rose.

"Well, I think there is no doubt that I underestimated the degree to which in this town politics trumps problem-solving," Mr. Obama replied.

Right there. That so perfectly summarizes the frustrations of millions. He does well to stay in-tune with American sentiment.

WTF HAS BEEN UP WITH TROLLS TODAY?!?

Seriously, is there something on the lunar calendar that I missed? They've been absolutely pants-sh*ttingly meta-retarded. I can't even give them a 0/10 because that implies that they are actually trying troll, as opposed to just slamming their idiot-boners in Fark's door jamb all day.

The Bain Capital story has been unfolding all weekend. They've had nearly 60 hours without Rush telling them what they should think about this. So, they've had to wing it until they get their new marching orders. Suffice to say, they don't handle things well when they go off-script.

You know how it is when someone is being choked to death? Politically, that is what is happening.
