Xanax is a lot safer than alcohol, but not with alcohol.

I'm on Xanax right now as I type this.

In a town I used to live in, this 12 year old kid was arrested for putting a dollars worth of quarters in the Sunday paper dispenser at convenience stores and then taking all the papers from the dispenser and selling them at his apartment complex for a discount of 50 cents. He was a bidnessman, just like this guy selling a few sleepy pills.

/Hard to get ahead these days

I can see stars in this guy's eye (and all around that eye). Is it the drugs?

Police allegedly discovered 13 of the pills in his front pocket. He was booked on felony possession of a controlled substance and will be arraigned August 3.

And did the cops check his Butkiewicz for any more?

According to the report, Butkiewicz told police: "I possibly have three Xanax bars in my possession."

What in the world is a Xanax "bar"???

Are they chocolate squares for nervous people who can't swallow pills?

The higher strength pills are long and kinda rectangular, hence the street name "bars"

I am glad that $200k+ of taxpayers money will be spent over the next few years to arrest, prosecute, imprison, probate and attempt to re-employ this highly dangerous individual. The government is oozing cash and can easily afford it.

/ Nixon was a stupid Dick
// the fact that every politician* knows the WoD is a monumental waste of time, yet finds it politically impossible** to argue for stopping it, illustrates the problem with democracy

* "every" does not necessarily include Teatards and theocrats
** except of course Ron Paul, who is simply inexplicable :)

I love that the newspaper helpfully provides a Google Map to the place where the article clearly establishes you can buy illegal drugs.

Thanks, journalism! You guys are getting the hang of this new electronic world!

Especially since the Fountainbleau is such an obscure little boutique hotel.

I needed that article to inform me that I can purchase illegal narcotics at a nightclub from less-than-reputable individuals.

So he told the cops he had 3 big Xanax 'bars' but then they find 13 pills on him? Is that 3 bars broken into 15 'pills' and he sold two already? Or did he just lie?
