Krashalotski on the pole should make for some fun as well, and considering that the Nationwide guys were having issues getting around lapped traffic yesterday, if this race goes that way, this could be a LOT of fun to watch :).

D'OH! FTFM (hangs head in shame, gives himself a pass-thru penalty down pit road for speeding on pit exit)

There were 10 start and park cars in the Nationwide race yesterday. That's starting to get a bit ridiculous.

uncleacid: There were 10 start and park cars in the Nationwide race yesterday. That's starting to get a bit ridiculous.

That's because it's stupid expensive to run a team without a primary sponsor (just ask the Cup guys, they had 44 cars show up to qualifying to claim 43 spots, leaving only one driver out of the race... and probably at least 7 of the guys who qualified are start-and-parkers).

To Harvick: "Congratulations on your new son, but most importantly, this championship...."

I'm torn on this. The economy is still in the shiatter, even well known names are finding it hard to find sponsorship in any form.

Also, never quite understood the whole issue with start and parkers. So what, its a 34 car race after so many laps. Doesn't make for a better or worse race, does it?

On one side, it's less lap traffic to work through for the race leaders, and fewer cars getting caught up in a middle-of-the-pack wreck.

Go Smoke! Also, more importantly for SHR... go Newman... he's going to need wins to get into the Chase.

Also, are there more elete drivers than J.J. Yeley* out there, that he's keeping from racing?

*Insert any of the other 7-10 start and parkers here.

Mike Bliss was the only driver not to qualify, and here's the probable start-and-parkers, and their qualifying positions:

32 26 Josh Wise*
33 13 Casey Mears
34 87 Joe Nemechek
35 36 Dave Blaney
36 98 Michael McDowell
37 32 Ken Schrader
41 23 Scott Riggs
42 179 Kelly Bires
43 33 Stephen Leicht*

Smoke because he's Smoke, Joonyer ditto, Harvick is my wild card, and Ambrose has been doing quite well of late, he's due.

nobody listened to me when I said not to get used to last week's coverage.

nobody believed me when I said that it happens every year for the Coke 400; since Coke is the major sponsor they pay for the split screen and all that.

NOOOOOOOO

Everyone was excited because it meant that TNT was finally doing the right thing with commercials!

HAHAHAHA!! I TOLD YOU SO!!!

Are you using Yahoo! fantasy with us, or a different one? Because in Yahoo!, I'm pretty sure Harvick and Smoke are both A-List drivers, of which you can only have one.

Personal fantasy team, if I was on the Yahoo team, I'd drop Harvick for David Ragan.

I hope they cut down the commercials, these AFN commercials suck.
