I'm Governor Mitt Romney and I'm asking for your support in the 2012 president election. Sure, I've never had to face the issues that you face today and I worked for a firm that destroyed American jobs, but I think that my methods of running a business will translate well into running the country. To get America moving again, we need to lower taxes and help those that have the means of helping themselves. We also need to destroy those programs that can help Americans who aren't wealthy. I'm sure that if we keep doing that then EVENTUALLY we'll get jobs.

Whatever you do, don't vote for the black guy who was born into a single-parent family and had no money who worked his way up into the Ivy League based upon his own skill and determination. Don't vote for the man who had no pot to piss in, but figured out a way to become a respected professor of constitutional law before devoting his time to public service and earning a fortune from the two books he actually wrote without a ghostwriter. Voting for a self-made man would be a mistake.

El_Dan: I'm not voting. My rationale is that the federal government is more or less ineffective because of partisan politics, and it needs to get worse before it can get better. Mitt Romney will make it worse. So while in a vacuum Obama's mostly ineffective leadership would be better than Romney's actively negative leadership, the government and the economy will continue to get worse under either. And Romney will get us to rock bottom faster than Obama.
