But... but... Rainbows, Unicorns.....

How about Hope and Change???

Still not working? How about welfare for life. You're gonna need it, because you'll never find a job.

The democrats have owned this demographic group for 50 years. Their intention to stay home speaks volumes of their dissatisfaction of Obama.

BillCo: How about welfare for life. You're gonna need it, because you'll never find a job.

If that is the case, then voting for any Republican candidate is contraindicated, as they will destroy any social safety the moment they can.

FTFA:Turnout intentions are currently lower among all registered voters than they were in the month before the last two elections...

So they have statistically proven that vote intention is lower in early July than it was during October of previous elections?

This is important! Abandon all hope and change

EnviroDude: The democrats have owned this demographic group for 50 years. Their intention to stay home speaks volumes of their dissatisfaction of Obama.

And nothing will cure them quite like getting four years of Mitt Romney up their asses. Obama is only bad if you don't compare him to the alternative that's ten times worse.

2012-07-15 08:52:36 AM
Yes, it's our fault that Obama didn't follow through on his promises, it's our fault that neither candidate cares to improve compromised future, and it's our fault that all the rest of you are morons who vote Republican.

Go fark yourself. It's YOUR fault that you vote Romney in.

2012-07-15 09:12:46 AM
I didn't think that demographic bothered to vote much to begin with. The old folks are best at voting; they have nothing else to do.

Not sure how being mad at the POTUS for being too conservative will be fixed by voting for a more conservative guy. But I'm over 30 so I'm out of touch.

We'll mock hope and change, and replace them with despair. Vote Republican.

Because 46 million people on food stamps with no hope of jobs is a viable alternative? Obama has to attack Romney because he can't run on his record

So the solution, obviously, is to gut the food stamp program.

By the way, how's that GOP jobs bill coming? Oh, that's right, they have to focus on the much more important issue of condoms first.

Stupid libs. If Republicans were actually worried about their chances they would be trying to get the Weeners into any political thread in an attempt to distract from their failures.

As this has not happened, we can only assume the Romney/Palin bid will take the White House.

Yes, so the viable alternative is obviously to put the people back in power who were in power when the economy completely collapsed in the first place. That'll learn 'em!

If pro-Romney boomers who are starting to draw social security and medicare really want to help the economy and federal budget, they can step into suicide booths instead of voting booths this fall

A little bit more deregulation, a few more tax cuts for the wealthy, and handing Social Security to Wall Street will turn things around. You'll see!

I'm just saying, don't attack me for generalizing groups when you're doing the same. It's hypocritical, and you know I hate that.

I'm just going to have to make some coffee and dump a bunch of Baileys in it. Need to do that anyway so I can keep working on my thesis proposal.

When was the last time an incumbent didn't attack his opponent?

Oh, and maybe you haven't seen the onslaught of commercials, but Obama is actually pushing his record - and Romney is countering by saying his record sucks.

I don't particularly care for Obama, but I'd rather have him in the White House. Romney hasn't offered shiat to convince me he'd do a better job.

If they stay home they've at least had the illusion that voting for either of these parties will ever make a difference lifted off them. I mean if the most hopey changey candidate in history turned into a sellout piece of crap once he got into office then I think we can all safely assume the chances of a Republicrat savior are finally gone.

Time to get third parties into higher office.

Wake the fark up, America.

thanks to Uber Americans like Mr. Outsourcer Mitt Rmoney. wanna' put his Bain ass in the White House: deal with the consequences when you do.

we didn't get into this mess in a few years and we aren't going to get out of it in a few years. the seeds for our condition now were sown in the 80's.

they thought that Obama could fix this clusterf*ck in a few years. it would be a miracle if he could fix it in 8.

welcome to dumb america. anyone who could vote for george bush jr. twice can't be too smart.

I'm 24 and plan on voting for the president. I don't trust Romney with the presidency and seeing what the GOP has done the past few years means that they need sweeping changes before I would consider them as a viable alternative.

Always appropriate for this topic:

"Yes, Obama duped young people by not doing every single thing they want. So now, they'll all vote Republican. It's like when I want some bread, I won't settle for half a loaf. Instead, I will have a muffin made of broken glass." - Stephen Colbert
