(With Leather)   One year ago, WWE Money in the Bank was headlined by CM Punk vs. John Cena in the most electrifying match in years. This year's MITB will feature skipping, and a sure SuperCena win. Watch it anyway at 8 PM on PPV   (withleather.uproxx.com) divider line 1478

Just realized both of last year's MITB winners are challenging for the opposite title belt tonight. Wonder if that was done on purpose or just coincidence.

Someone's getting DQed in this match

verbaltoxin: one of those: Del Rio needs to win this, they need a heel champion

I concur. Del Rio might actually get heat if he were given a run w/ the Big Gold.

he's had it a few times now, and has constantly been met with crickets. HE needs more characterization that "he's rich and thinks he's better than everyone else." Tedi DiBiase did it much better.

styckx: What's with the out of no where over the top pat downs for illegal objects? I haven't seen that shtick in over a decade

The ref is xenophobic.

Lawler calling BS on Sheamus' bullying story with "everybody didn't look that way in Ireland?" = amusing.

Meh. Those title runs last year were vastly overshadowed by the Punk-Cena drama. He was just a fifth wheel.

They really need to make a decision about Cole's character. They're having him turn his heelish persona on and off in the middle of a freaking match. Either let him go back to being a straight play-by-play guy, or bring in another caller and let Cole heel it up. Having him try to wear two hats is lame and doesn't work.

Del Rio could have gotten over in 1994 WWF. All he needs is a Delorean instead of a Mustang

Tonight commentating is so forced and unnatural. It sounds like they are reading scripts and waiting for cues..

Hell, at this point in time, I'd rather see a commentary booth featuring Mongo McMichael and Mike Adamle than have to listen to Lawler and Cole.

I don't mind Josh Matthews though.

I've learned to just tune him out. Wish that was possible with Booker!

I don't mind Cole as a straightman announcer. He just gets annoying when he tries to have personality.

You think Del Rio should retroactively be a member of New Generation 1.0 instead of New Generation 2.0?

Dummy Del Rio, you're bending his arm the opposite way you need it to bend for your finisher.

It makes perfect sense. That way it hurts Sheamus to try and bend it that direction to block the Cross Arm Breaker.

See, WWE?! SEE?!! That's how easy it is to come up with bullshiat pseudo-medical reasons to sell the match!

A little sour mix, a splash of coke, close enough to a long island iced tea.

I wish Cole would go the Jonathan Coachman route and leave the WWE for ESPN

Don't push someone with your "bad arm," Sheamus. Hopefully Dolph tells you to remember that in the future if/when he runs in.

If Ziggler fails in his cash in, I will not watch WWE again until he is champ.

I'm definitely getting the vibe that Sheamus is only as good as the guy he's wrestling. This is very pedestrian.

If they would actually let him show that he's a rich asshole, he would get some heat. Film him driving up to illegal immigrants in a Wal-mart parking lot and have him call immigration. Have him bribe a ref or two. Have him hire some goons to take out the face he's fighting.

The problem is that they are telling us that he's a rich asshole, they aren't showing it. And that goes against Storytelling 101.

Schiavone wasn't bad until the "Greatest night in the history of our sport!" crap started.

Schiavone's problem was Eric Bischoff in his ear (much like WWE's commentary problem stems from Vince micromanaging things), and general lack of caring about the product after he got passed over for the head Booker's job when WCW promoted Bischoff.

Oh, and WCW in the last couple years was shiat, too.
