Thrag: Silly Jesus: As to your point about him not getting the main ingredient at the store...the 7/11 typically doesn't sell prescription grade cough syrup.

So you are telling me that not only did he not have the main ingredient but he wouldn't even have had access to it? Well, thanks for pointing out again how completely idiotic it is to claim that having juice and candy is proof that they are a chronic drug abuser.

I merely said that he would / could not have purchased the main ingredient at the 7/11. That in no way rules out the possibility of him having any. I went out and got some bread yesterday and I made a pbj when I got home. You see, I didn't purchase all of the ingredients at the store at once, there were "leftovers" in my cabinet from previous pbj's.

The prosecution will use this pretty damned convincingly.

The prosecutor is a wackjob and will be quite entertaining if it is televised. She recently threatened to sue Harvard because a professor there criticized her, among other silliness. Stupid freedom of speech.

The narrative on Zimmerman has failed hard. The only thing they might get him on is a civil case. Meanwhile Zimmerman has a hell of a case against many major media outlets if he decides to pursue it.

He isn't a racist (even the FBI says so) and he didn't stalk anyone. What else is there? Nothin'.

Hobodeluxe: I've always found that when you lie and try to hide stuff from the court they tend to be impartial.

I tend not to take legal advise from people who use "impartial", "not impartial", and "partial" interchangeably.

Thrag: That was not correct as the term "skittles" refers to a type of pill.

You seem to be the one asserting this and I'm not sure why. In that convo he doesn't mention skittles. Skittles is given as an additive to sweeten the codeine mix in all drug references I've seen.

You got a cite for the pill you're talking about? Because you're asserting it means a specific type of pill and being quite insulting about it but you've not clarified the actual error.

Jim_Tressel's_O-Face: I've been slow on the news, I didn't even catch these. The left-handed holster doesn't even make any sense, were they out of right-handed ones when he bought his gun?

I don't get the point of the whole thing as some holsters can be worn left or right for access by right or left handed individuals from either side. I'm assuming the original poster got the charge from a message board post made by someone who is only partially aware of what a holster is used for.

Hobodeluxe: Amos Quito: From a previous article: "Judge Lester writes: "It is entirely reasonable for this court to find that, but for the requirement that he be placed on electronic monitoring, the defendant and his wife would have fled the United States with at least $130,000 of other people's money."

Bye bye judge Lester, you idiot.

If he doesn't recuse himself and Zimmerman is convicted, the case will be tossed on appeal.

why else were they hiding the money and the passport? part of a courts mission is to make conclusions based on evidence. the evidence is that he was hiding money. actively moving it around in small amounts to avoid detection, talking in "code" about it to his wife to avoid detection by the authorities and not disclosing that he had another passport. now I ask you. would the judge be doing his job if he just dismissed all that evidence in making his determination on raising the bail amount? or should have have just raised it with no explanation of the obvious reasons for doing so? you lie to the judge, you hide stuff from the judge and then cry foul when they hold it against you?

Before Zimmerman was arrested the *first* time, he was in hiding because Sharpton, Jackson and the rest of the Race Baiting Racketeers had every Attractive and Successful Melanin-Rich asshat in the country looking to murder him on sight.

Yet he turned himself in as requested.

After he was arrested the first time AND released on bail (and remained in hiding because he was STILL on the AASAM Shoot-On-Sight list), when the circumstances surrounding said bail were questioned, he turned himself in as requested.

Aside from grandstanding and showmanship, why would Lester assert that Zimmerman, who had complied with all orders to appear, say that he WOULD have run given the chance, and then proceed to give him ANOTHER chance.

IF, as Lester asserted, he is SUCH a flight risk, why not keep him locked up?

Lester is a rat, as are all the Race-Baiting Racketeers.

Yes but thanks to the brilliance that is FL's Stand Your Ground law, you can shoot someone when you're losing the fight EVEN if you were the one that provoked it.

It's a law fit for all the wannabe tough guys out there.

A civil case isn't even allowed under Florida law if it's ruled that he acted in self defense.

Silly Jesus: His dad was a retired, low level (Magistrate = Traffic Court, basically) "judicial officer" (he wasn't even technically called a judge, according to the spokesperson for the Virginia courts) from two states away. Not quite the powerful ally that people would have you believe. Hell, I'm almost certain that that level of judge doesn't even need a college degree, much less a law degree.

I've always been puzzled by people trotting out how his dad's status in Virginia gave him clout in Florida. At best, his dad can give him good legal advice.

But that doesn't matter because Zimmerman is doing dumb things. He gave a full statement to the cops then re-enacted the shooting the next day all without council. And yet he didn't give conflicting accounts nor state something directly contradictory to the evidence. At least not something that would rattle the overall story. I don't consider him stating the exact spot the body fell incorrectly to really matter much as if he was lying he could just have easily changed that bit. It seems to me that is just faulty memory due to it being dark.

Oh, Jesus Christ. I hadn't heard that angle yet. Even though Zimmerman (sometimes white, sometimes not) was on a bunch of psychoactive drugs, Trayvon Martin was now going to use the Skittles and iced tea to make his illegal drugs more delicious.

What kind of drug addict gives a shiat if the drugs taste good? Even convicted drug addict Rush Limbaugh didn't care how his pills tasted. (Rush isn't black, either.)

I'll add one other thing. Many people who intend to assemble illicit objects like bombs, drugs, etc tend to spread the purchases out for the various components to not draw attention to themselves. If I walk into a store and buy a bunch of fertilizer, diesel, pipe, pipe ends, wire, batteries, and one small alarm clock it would look suspicious. Maybe somebody who doesn't want people to know he drinks purple drank doesn't buy all the ingredients in the place.

1. The legal definition of "stalking" was not met. Nowhere even close.

I am quite sure he will get off, but I don't think he will get rich. He's too much of a shiatheel and too obviously guilty for normal folk to want to buy his celebrity, and he's too brown for the white supremacists to spend more than a token amount, and the white supremacists are too poor to actually spend that much on him.

He will get off because the cops have egg on their face and don't want him convicted, and because he can play the crying victim of evil racist black people, then he will quietly disappear except for bored, "where are they now" posts on fark and the like.

I hope this has been mentioned before now, but yes, Zimmerman did lie. He lied by saying that he was "pretty much broke," when he knowingly had ~$130k in various accounts due to the paypal thing. He surrendered his first passport as a condition of being released on bail, but did not surrender his 2nd passport (and did not mention it). In addition, his wife did some pretty shady shiz. You know how supposedly the government doesn't keep track of bank transactions over $10k? She made a bunch of transfers from the paypal account to his bank account to her bank account all for various amounts just under $10k. She also lied on the stand directly about their finances.

If he had been beating GZ like he claims, there would've been other wounds and DNA/blood from Z on Trayvon's hands and there was NONE found nor anything under TM's nails.

gimmegimme: Are you on Skittle Heroin? Zimmerman WAS following Martin. Your analogy is silly.

Only initially. Somehow two minutes after Martin lost Zimmerman, Zimmerman "caught up" with Martin a few dozen feet away from where he was lost.

Would you go back to confront someone that you thought was following you after you lost them? No? Would you assault them? If not, then you need to stop empathizing with Martin.

Because I'm sure you wouldn't let someone punch you in the face.

LordJiro: And you know that Trayvon struck first because....?

Because the guy who ambushes and pulls out the gun first usually doesn't get punched.

Mrtraveler01: And you have proof that it was his actual facebook account and not something made up in a photoshop how?

It could be faked. I'll give you that. But since his facebook was scrubbed of all posts and the other party in the conversation hasn't come forward to debunk it I'd give it weight that it's probably real.

Silly Jesus: 1. The legal definition of "stalking" was not met. Nowhere even close.

Also, the legal recourse to someone stalking you isn't "punch them". Odd how we have so many activists who decry a disproportionate response by Zimmerman while neglecting that aspect. It's almost as if their bold-faced partisan asshattery is guiding their fauxrage.,

Lor M. Ipsum: Isn't this the judge whose daughter was a high school friend of Zimmerman's?

No, that was the first judge who said "What, you want me out? Fine, see ya!"

gimmegimme: Splenda: I hope this has been mentioned before now, but yes, Zimmerman did lie.

What? Lying to the judge is a crime? Zimmerman would never do anything illegal, even through his brain drug haze.

Zimmerman loves the cock. I heard it on Drudge so it must be true

Thunderpipes: CliChe Guevara: cretinbob: I think the judge has been quite fair with Zimmerman and is making sure he goes through the process just like everyone else.

That's the point. He has tried to play the system at every turn. He feels he shouldn't have to go through the process like everyone else, and that treating him like a normal person -IS- discriminatory and degrading to him.

Everyone else never would have had charges filed against them, because George did nothing but defend himself against a gangster thug. Then the media stepped in, lied blatantly, President stepped in, every other racist liberal in the country.

See if you like it when some black dude is railroaded for something he clearly did not do....

You guys are really sick. Hitler could have used you guys.

Too realistic to tell if stupid or just trolling.

Tourney3p0: Silly Jesus:

1. The legal definition of "stalking" was not met. Nowhere even close.

Doesn't have to be. Irrelevant to charges.

2. No evidence that Zimmerman confronted Martin.

Other than the testimony from a witness, you're right. My understanding is that the witness was black though, so it's basically not evidence.

3. It's odd that Martin had no wounds from a fight, other than the wounds that Zimmerman's face gave to his knuckles.

Whether or not Martin sucked at fighting is irrelevant to the charges. Bumbling criminals are Fark's bread and butter.

I can't make any sense out of anything you just said..so I'm just going to pass.

King Something: You know, I've never heard of the word "Skittles" being used as slang for illegal drugs before this thread.

Nor have I ever heard anyone making a deal about what particular flavor of iced tea Martin had.

I wonder why this information suddenly popped up in this thread.....

My first guess, too.

Hmmmmm, I think you guys are on to something. 9brews-like typing detected. Perhaps I shouldn't have been so tactful in my above posting.

Hint: If you can only post the "Date and Time" someone became a member of a website....you have probably maxed the use of your critical thinking skills.

No, it wasn't the date and time. It was the 9beers-like typing detected. It took just one threadshiat by 9beers before I had him, I mean you on ignore. We get it. You hate gays and blacks and will threadshiat so that we can all smell it.

It's not terribly technically complex to trace the traffic on Fark threads and thus figure out who owns what ALTs. EIP if you want the details.

gimmegimme: Benjimin_Dover: Silly Jesus: Thrag: Silly Jesus: As to your point about him not getting the main ingredient at the store...the 7/11 typically doesn't sell prescription grade cough syrup.

(Caveat: Not arguing that he did or didn't have cough syrup already at his house, or that he was or was not making this drink...merely pointing our your failed logic)

Why do you care what Martin was doing at the store that night? Was he doing anything illegal? Nope. What relevance does anything you're saying have to the shooting? Are you saying it's okay for random people on psych meds to hunt and stalk teenagers on the off chance those teenagers might be making codeine cocktails?

Disclaimer: I'm not making a judgement as to whether or not he was under the influence of "lean."

But, this would be relevant. Either of the actors here being under the influence of an intoxicating substance would be very relevant. If the idea that Zimmerman was drunk was floating around out there I highly doubt that you would just dismiss it completely.

It's not about whether it's illegal or not (it is in fact illegal to have prescription strength cough syrup if it's not prescribed to you), but rather about how judgement may have been impaired etc.

I can't make any sense out of anything you just said..so I'm just going to pass.

It was pretty simple, straightforward English. If you can't make sense for it, I just feel bad for you. Feel free to try again if you'd like. Or not. Can't imagine anything of value is lost either way.

gimmegimme: Silly Jesus: LordJiro: Tourney3p0: barneyfifesbullet:
He isn't a racist (even the FBI says so) and he didn't stalk anyone. What else is there? Nothin'.

What about that guy he killed? I feel like you're forgetting that unarmed child that he hunted and gunned down.

Armed, lighter-skinned guy shoots a black kid: Obviously self defense.

Unarmed black kid fighting with aforementioned light-skinned guy, after light-skinned guy stalked and confronted him for Walking While Black: Clearly, he was a violent thug who attacked this fine upstanding citizen for NO REASON., and if you even consider that the black kid might have been acting in self defense, you're clearly a victim Liberal White Guilt or a Black Racist.

1. The legal definition of "stalking" was not met. Nowhere even close.
2. No evidence that Zimmerman confronted Martin.
3. It's odd that Martin had no wounds from a fight, other than the wounds that Zimmerman's face gave to his knuckles.

I thought that Real Americans appreciate the kind of guy who doesn't start a fight, but sure 'nuff finishes it. Trayvon Martin was that kinda man. If only he'da been armed.
