What about 23 years? 25? How long does it take before you will expect this?

Damn women drivers!!

Woman driver? Checks TFA.

Yep

When I was working police dispatch years ago I had a call about a 40 foot RV pulled into the water by a boat. I didn't expect that either.

This woman sounds cognitively impaired and should not be driving.

//there are more people on the road who have mild cognitive impairment than intoxicated people and they are just as dangerous. Scary but explains alot of the crap driving I see

I am surprised the boat supports an SUV that lands on it, flying, and there isn't just a hole in the boat.

I shall no longer be impressed with the battleships that can shoot VWs.

In 2009 Draft was driving on Boom Road near 148th Avenue near her home in Ottawa County when she felt dizzy and pulled over but crashed into the Grand River.

Since this woman does not have the good sense to quit driving, hopefully the state will have the good sense to take away her license.

It'll never happen. Americans need to drive everywhere. Haven't you seen the high speed rail threads?

I don't expect a lot of things 22 years from now.

She looks doable, but those dumbo ears are throwing me off.

Clearly she has some disease that causes her to become dizzy and seak out water to crash into. She should avoid driving near water.

After I had abdominal surgery and thus anesthesia for the first time in my life, I got dizzy for about a month afterword. It's not necessarily something you can predict; the difference was after the first couple of times I stopped driving unless I absolutely had to.

I know the people who own that boat. (Their son anyway).

He sent out some pretty cool cell phone pictures of this crash the other day.

It sucks for them though- they blew one of the engines maneuvering it to where the crane could pick the car off. Talk about adding insult to injury...

Going out on a limb here, but I'm gonna say that she didn't actually pull over.

Oh yeah. I know there are medical reasons for getting dizzy. If she has such a condition, I feel bad for her. It's hard to get around without a car.

I think it's funny that she's crashed into water (or a boat in water) twice. Michigan does have a lot of lakes and rivers but still.

Not sexist if it's true.

To be fair, high speed rail is only going to get you between major metropolitan areas.

High speed rail isn't going to have a train that helps you get to work faster. That would be a commuter rail.

It's not that she's a woman, it's that she randomly has dizzy spells and grey outs.

Anyone of any gender shouldn't be driving if they're randomly passing out.

Sorry they blew an engine but the car on the bow didn't cause it.

TFH: "In 22 years, you don't expect to get a call of a car sitting on top of a boat"

Clearly, whoever wrote this doesn't understand the contemporary world. This sort of statement was based on a world of fewer people, and on in which every little occurrence, no matter how trivial, didn't get reported. More of our lives were local, involved with actual meat people that we lived with.....even an hundred years ago, intensely so.
Now, in a world of 7 billions, just about anything you can imagine (and lots of things you can't) is happening RIGHT NOW. And the media and the Internet are making damn sure you know about them.
