I'll buy them for $6 a share if it gets down to that level. I think it may have hit bottom already at $7 but I'm greedy. I'm thinking if they get down to $6 then whoever buys them will most likely offer $9-12 a share.

Quite a bit, IMO. Finding a chick that will do it whenever you want her to, though, is the trick.

wait... I think I've said too much.

Well, they're burning through their 2.2 billion in cash so fast I imagine it's whatever the valuation of their patent portfolio is. It's not like BB10 is going to resurrect the company.

I'm not fond of the Berdan primer, but 7.62 X 54R, while it is getting more expensive, is still comparatively cheap. It offers decent bang for the buck.

Geotpf: What, no jokes about jobs?

There are far fewer RIM jobs now than there were two months ago.

Happy?

The business is a disaster.

I expect RIM to be broken-up - perhaps an Amazon/Google buyout. Google would love to ditch Activesync for BES-based technology. Amazon might like to build their own mobile division around BB hardware and patents. Cross-license everything. Could work out. If Apple gets into a bidding war the price will be high, if not it could be a quick sale.

Mmmm, Android with a RIM-developed keyboard. That sounds better than Swiftkey.

BES is evil and should be buried in some Canadian tar pit somewhere.

I have a BB Torch and if you try to use the touch screen to type it will use some bizzarre auto sense thing and come up with random words nowhere near what you were looking for.

If they made a one-piece android phone with a keyboard I'd have gotten one instead of this blackberry. I can't use a touchscreen (no feeling in my fingertips) and I work in metal fab, so moving parts tend to get broken.

/$50, not a penny less.

A not terrible network infrastructure, and a decently sized corporate customer base. While they're shrinking and sucking the big one, they still have that. Worth a few billion to one of the new big players. But they should sell NOW.

Nokia and RIM were both market leaders. Still can't believe they fell so fast.

you don't like swiftkey? it's probably the best keyboard other than Swype out there.

RIM's patents and network are worth something. I hate to say this but if the Army can perfect their own version of Android and be able to secure it as much as they want you can kiss RIM's contracts with the gov good bye. As it is now Samsung is leading the charge with their new DM Agent's and Enterprise API's which let you do pretty much anything I was able to do on the BES with our users. Anybody who says Android can't be secure on the enterprise level has never used an MDM client tied into those API's or any phone that has 4.0 or higher.

No, I do like SwiftKey. I feel like BB keyboard was excellent and it took a while to get used to a virtual one.
