I don't care what anyone says-- I will always recall fondly Halo and Halo 2. I will always remember the the sixteen-player LAN parties with my friends down in the basement, televisions and cables crossing every which way. Those games and those experiences were a defining part of my teenage years, and no vitriol or cynicism on behalf of such bitter tools will ever manage to tarnish that.
