I'm just barely not enough of a jerk to actually post a picture, but I'm sure most everyone knows the combo-breaker for The Stealth Hippopotamus's posts. That's why they retired the Woodland Camouflage BDU early: Darn things kept spontaneously falling off. (Hey, you try reacting to an ambush with your pants around your ankles.)

i.r.id10t: OK, I have issues... "heavily armed". They are carrying a metal and plastic club - htey have no mags, no ammo.

Also, the M16 isn't heavy - just under 8lbs IIRC. They should go back to what they used to tote before sucking up to the US - the FN-FAL. Now that was a heavy gun - almost 10lbs empty, full mag weighs 2lbs...

The FN-FAL is a fine weapon, but it has a nasty tendency to jam. They replaced it with the M-16 and Galil. Looks like they're moving to the Tavor.

I would just like to say that back in 92 I spent a month training with the IDF and I am pretty sure I had an erection for four weeks and it was taken care of by the wonderfully nice IDF ladies every night often many times a night. I am pretty sure that was the happiest month of my life.
