I've been out most of the day at the hospital visiting my mom. She had surgery today. She's fine now. Resting comfortably. She had a hysterectomy and they found a rather large 10" tumor in there that they took out. It ended up being benign, but it was the longest 2 weeks she'd ever spent! Whew! I felt bad leaving her but she said she wouldn't be alone as the nurses would be bothering her every 15 minutes taking her temperature, pulse, etc. LOL

Oh, wait. It was.

10"? Wow. Glad your Mom's better.

LMAO

The second I hit 'enter' I thought "Ooooooh, this time I've gone too far." Glad you have a sense of humor.

The second I typed "tumor" I knew I was asking for it, so, yes I have a sense of humor! LOL

Well, as long as you knew it was coming :)

This one time (not at band camp) back in my radio days I was doing a remote at a local Wendy's and at some point during the banter with the jock back in the studio I blurted out "IT'S NOT A TUMAH!"

I wish I could remember the context in which I used that phrase. On air. Live. In public.

Sickapie, it's far less dangerous than an abcess would be, that I need extracted. Abcess means infection,
which for moi could be quite dangerous & would need out ASAP. This can waitabit.

Fetched awhile back by our fave Alien.
Had some direct words from her today, which I sing-cerely hope she won't mind if I fetch here. On the morrow there's to be a visit to one of her MDs, which may settle a number of things, it's hoped somewhat favourably.
Some Other Developments may need to be relayed privately, which I'll essay to do,
Right now, Ginger needs some medical attention, we hope not medication right now.
Since my reh's off, I plan to stay up for a while yet.

sigh. picked up my two brats last week from where they were staying with a friend. they behaved themselves to a point. one of them managed to get into a plant on a very high shelf and used it as a litterbox, impressively without knocking anything on the shelf off. we have no clue how they pulled off that stunt, there was no room for another item, let alone a 12 lb cat. they got along fine with applejack, the resident feline. one of them *cough* jake *cough* started to do some minor and obnoxious damage to a wall. no details were given and the wall was not shown to us but i imagine there was either a small tear in the wallpaper that they made bigger or they scratched and made their own post.
i drove them down to londonderry where my aunt is boarding them until we can get our own place. her older female cat has shown her dislike of the boys but as long as they keep some distance and don't eat her food all is good. even my aunt's husband likes to play with them. they have access to an open, second story balcony with no way to jump down. jake made it out once and when they opened the door soon afterwards he was hunched up by the door waiting to be let in so i know they won't try to make a run for it. unfortunately they are very far away and visiting is a day long excursion. soooooo, i miss my furbabies!

Evening, all. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. The funeral was as nice as a funeral can be - my mom got the flag that was on the casket. Time to sleep now, then tomorrow morning it's back on the road. :-( Thanks to all for another great Caturday (I've been lurking) and I'll see you guys on Purrsday. Good night.

syzygy whizz: Sent our Alien a little surprise last week...hope it arrives soon.

Had company during the weekend...ex-partner and his new girlfriend.
I've had a sufficient quantity of weirdness in my life that it was actually no big deal.
She and I got along great- tag-teamed 'picking on' Gregor...and SHE FIXED MY COMPUTER!

D'Artagnan was completely smitten with her. Had to tell him "No, we can't keep her; she's got furkids of her own to go home to."
Think he was looking for her today...pretty sure he misses her.

My poor D'Artagnan...I wish I knew how to make things so that he was a happier cat alla time...

Mr. Witch's ex-wife and I get along wonderfully. Her husband is hilarious. Both Mr. Witch and I love him to pieces.

I was the photographer for the ex's sister when she got married.

Life is so much easier when you do all get along.
