Because if there's anyone who's honest, it's poor mothers in backwater areas who stand to gain attention, and thus sympathy and aid from their countrymen which could feed their kids.

...you gonna eat that?

Prakash Wadje, ZP member from Dindori, raised the issue and demanded an immediate recall of food packets, blacklisting of the food supplier, and immediate repatriation of the deputy chief executive officer, women and child welfare committee.

OK, a dead lizard is bad, but let's not totally overreact, shall we? They didn't put that dead lizard in there to spite you personally.

Having RTFA, I can't muster any snark.

I will simply appreciate the fact that I am in a nice air-conditioned house stocked with food and not in danger of malnutrition while living in a rural part of India.

Of course, it was Edward the Lizard, so it tried to claim India through the cunning use of flags.

They would have listed "One real, dead lizard" in the contents, but they were afraid it would hurt the sales.

Paneer Peas don't sound so bad now.

Unless it had the proper FDA label taped to it.

Indians say we stole their land and killed their people, but in fact, it was nothing like that. Yet, while I disagree with the liberal propaganda spouted in "educational" books read country-wide by impressionable children, I find it HEELARIOUS that those people have lizards in their food.

I want him dead. I want his family dead. I want his friends dead. I want his house burned to the ground.

What I love best about that image is that it's not a straight ticket. That means the voter really thought critically about each issue and position, decided Al Franken was the best choice for Senator, but on other issues, had to give the nod to Lizard People. It was a carefully weighted decision.

/I'm wondering: Does that spoil the entire ballot?

This is India. If a poor person could somehow even manage to start a frivolous lawsuit they'd be beaten.

You might be confusing "poor" with "low caste".

Why should he get repatriations for failing to make sure the food suppy isn't tainted when all the African-Americans haven't yet gotten their repatriations for all those years of slavery?
