This may be a Great Leap Forward. I suggest a Five Year Plan to push this through to a final solution to the illegal children problem.

Damn kids, choosing to be born poor when so many children choose to be born into wealthy families.

I can't wait to see how many jobs this creates.

An amendment introduced by Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL) would achieve some of these cuts by denying nutritional assistance to qualifying Americans if they live in a household with anyone who cannot prove they have authorization to live in the United States-even when those individuals are not seeking benefits for themselves.

Pure god damn farking evil.

If we deport them after we catch them, they'll just come back. I suggest we feed them to the other hungry mouths we aren't allowed to get rid of. People still like veal, right?

So, GOP -- already focusing on 2016? That's a smart move. You probably won't have enough Latinos disenfranchised this year to avoid the expected and wholly embarrassing thrashing you're aiming for in November, so focusing on the long game is definitely best.

2012-07-12 03:24:45 PM
FYI for those that don't know. The current situation is that in a family unit children under 18 recieve food support and anyone that is an adult that cannot document there citizenship DOES NOT.

This really is taking food out of the mouths of children for the sole purpose of saving a few bucks.

Oooh.... Roby, you animal. Remember you made it with the cow? I wanna party with you, man!

But seriously, how is Rush at this very moment not eating a chalupa out of this woman's vag for her great works to rid us of soshulizm in this country?

The GOP runs a spite based domestic policy and a religious kook based foreign policy. Great group of people we got there...

I swear, this is so catoonishly evil that it just had to be a parody. But it's not and even my non-violent self wishes a painful death on those who sincerely believe this evil is a necessary and proper choice.

Gah! That face! WTF?

As to the subject- I see this as a bold move to seal up the Hispanic vote. Why wouldn't someone with the last name of Martinez want to show their proof of citizenship every time they turn around and need to get something from the society they contribute to? Good call, Rep. Puttyface.

2012-07-12 03:25:51 PM
Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL) has taken an indefensible, immoral position and should resign.

I said that farked up and ambiguous Kids get it regardless of citizen status because they are children. Adults have to be citizens AND qualify under several other factors to recieve it.

Isnt that a violation of due process?

Basically the kid otherwise qualifues, but because someone who might be in the country illegally is staying with them, they are denied on basis of aiding in a crime?

Where are the judicial convictions establishing a crime did infact take place to establish aid of a crime?

GWSuperfan: So, the GOP wants to deny nutritional support and food to AMERICAN CITIZEN CHILDREN because of who their parents may or may not be?

It's not even who their parents may be, it who anyone who shares the home they live in may be.

If a struggling mom and kid get taken in by neighbors, they will have to prove their neighbors are citizens or legal immigrants.

If a single parent has a roommate to help share housing costs, they will have to prove the roommate is a citizen or legal immigrant.

The poor family could have been in this country for generations and this piece of shiat amendment will deny the child support solely out of spite for illegal immigrants.

I want a full DNA report on these "people." I don't think they have quite evolved (which may explain why they cannot seem to "believe" in evolution), and I am not sure they meet the minimum qualifications for service in government. The nice thing is that they will have no problem with providing us with their DNA information because Republicans tell us over and over that if you have nothing to hide, you will be forthcoming with written documentation.

You think feeding the children is not doing something for the parent? REALLY

If the parents had done what they were supposed to do, this would not be an issue.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Any Republican/Conservative/Christian who fought hard to get gay marriage bans enacted into law, should be fuming about this. Think about it: How often did Jesus mention homosexuality? Between zero and two times, depending on how you interpreter certain passages. How many times did he menton helping the poor? Hundreds, if not thousands of times.

Why are Christians pulling hundreds if not thousands of times harder to get social welfare to help the poor than they pull for getting gay marriage banned?

/ not that I think gay marriage should be banned
// just pointing out the dissonance
