She probably just saw the opportunity to run and she took it. If baby is in a car seat, that takes time to unhook and he might be back before you got the baby out. If she went to the police, they can go and get the baby. Likely they have the baby placed in foster care or in care with the mother.

//she had to take the chance in order to try to live...I salute her.

I'm just.... sick.

Lizon's attorney, Shawn Bayliss, told WSAZ the allegations against Lizon are false, saying the woman who told police everything has a "feeble mind."

Yeah, she's just feeble; yet apparently so powerful in mind as to fake injuries consistent with a decade of malicious physical torture. Asshole.

Carrie, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, was in Misery due to the Insomnia she suffered from. In her Desperation, she spoke to The Regulators regarding IT. Her Tales Froma Buick 8 left their cheek tinted with Rose Mader. Unsure what to do about her Nightmares and Dreamscapes, they locked her in a Dark Tower guarded by a Skeleton Crew.

Actually, from what I've seen, people with mild to moderate mental disabilities are the most likely to become victims of abuse like this. It just makes it even sicker.

Like this which was described in the article, sure; I don't know this woman's mental capacities or pre-dispositions for mental illness. What I'm saying above is in response to the lawyer stating that the allegations are false. She's been admitted into the hospital, looked over head to toe, another article says there are over 45 color photos of her long-term physical injuries and scar tissue evidence from the torture this thing inflicted on her over the years. I'm sure they used x rays which will show long term abuse as well. My point is that she couldn't have faked that. Any of the traumas that have been found on her body is highly unlikely to be caused by all her lonesome.

Another 'interesting' thing from one of the local news outlets; the lawyer also stated that he could promise that the wife would stand by her husband's side throughout the trial.... We'll see what some time away from psycho and in the hands of councilors could do for her. And he could just be talking out of his ass like he did above. But shiat man, a farking decade. Stockholm syndrome's a biatch.

Aside from all that, who uses the phrase "feeble mind" anymore? That is something I would have expected to see in an article from the 50's.

frenchcheesemuseum: Uchiha_Cycliste: wasn't that... shiat. Rose Mader or something?

No Rose Madder was about the haunted painting that the woman bought after she left her sh*tstain abusive husband. She eventually went INTO the painting.

Well, she *was* tied up and raped right? IIRC more than once, and once with a tennis racket =(.

I've never thought about it, but King has a lot of rapes doesn't he?

While I agree with you, it's important to point out that he was not claiming the victim had a feeble mind, but that the woman who reported it in the first place did. Still a really shiatty thing to say.

So he is likely to be held prisoner for less time than he imprisoned his wife?

WTF?

...I hope additional charges are pending
