What kills me is that's not anywhere NEAR Dutch. Or German. It's more like made-up Icelandic.

Chief Boggs told msnbc.com malicious wounding is likely to net Lizon between two to 10 years in prison.

So he is likely to be held prisoner for less time than he imprisoned his wife?

WTF?

...I hope additional charges are pending

That's just so that they can hold him. multiple counts of False imprisonment should keep him lock up for a long time.

I'm just.... sick.

Lizon's attorney, Shawn Bayliss, told WSAZ the allegations against Lizon are false, saying the woman who told police everything has a "feeble mind."

Yeah, she's just feeble; yet apparently so powerful in mind as to fake injuries consistent with a decade of malicious physical torture. Asshole.

She probably just saw the opportunity to run and she took it. If baby is in a car seat, that takes time to unhook and he might be back before you got the baby out. If she went to the police, they can go and get the baby. Likely they have the baby placed in foster care or in care with the mother.

Wasn't there an urban legend 20 or so years ago where a girl was willingly tied naked to four bedposts and when her boyfriend tried to drunkenly jump on her from the dresser he slipped and broke his neck, leaving her to wait on the bed for days in her own shiat until her parents came back from vacation?

Actually, from what I've seen, people with mild to moderate mental disabilities are the most likely to become victims of abuse like this. It just makes it even sicker.
