Irony aside, they certainly don't want to argue facts. That would be a losing proposition.

I don't think he needs Republican help for that...

"They don't care about the logic. They want to embarrass President Obama," Rangel continued. "To hold these people hostage is wrong."

*sigh* Nothing matters to these people (Republicans, mind you), except "I know you are, but what am I!?"

Well yeah, but excuse me for the hyperbole, but it is like Hitler lecturing on the dangers of genocide. He might be right, but it is a little tough to take him seriously on the subject.

Like listening to Republicans talk about the dangers of homosexuality, as well.

Embarrass?

This is the GOP we're talking about.

They want to drive you before them and crush you utterly while they enjoy hearing the lamentation of the women.

A losing proposition for whom?
This is a center-right country. The GOP does some really stupid, political things, but dont pretend the left in this country doesnt demagogue every available issue while bungling a ton of opportunities. This team had 2 full years to get alot done-they simply didnt know how to manage an economy after a recession. As much of an idiot Bush was as President, Obama has proven himself to be almost as incompetent and full of shiat. Lets get to that happy medium place please.

Its my hope that Obama could go the route of JQ Adams and get in the House after he loses in November. He could count his Presidential years as a good foundation of experience.

"The Republicans have made up their mind they are not going to do anything, no matter how logical or how much sense it makes, that's going to make the president look good in the political light,"

Party before country. What happened to you GOP, you used to be cool.

No, they didn't.

But facts have an obvious liberal bias.

Might be more ironic the GOP has done a fair job embarrassing themselves.

You know, after Joseph McCarthy was censured, he just drank himself to death.

Keep that in mind, Charlie.

EighthDay

Democrats and Independents had 57 seats in Congress in Jan 2009, 58 seats in April '09, 59 seats June '09 and 60 seats August of 2009 through 2010. So less than 2 years, but over 13 months. Clinton passed budgets with Republicans in control in both houses of Congress. Bush sucked, but stop acting like Obama is anything to get excited about.

I would think that Democrats would like a moderate like Romney in Office. Once he is elected, most policies will be written from the center.

Actually, the lamentations of dying women seem to be one of their biggest goals as well.

Please contiWow. I don't think I've ever seen a deep double-down quite like this before.

Please continue.
