It's not going to be repealed. They'd need to win the White House, keep the House, and get a filibuster proof majority in the Senate.

Anyone who actually thinks it's going to be repealed is fooling themselves or just dumb as hell. But then again, we're talking about the party that nominated the guy who first implemented the mandate and said it would be a great model for the nation.

Those poor people don't deserve the same doctor I do. What makes them think its right to use the government to take my medicare? If things were so bad why are any of them still living? From the sound of it you'd think those people want free medicine and for me to pay for it, like health care is in the Constitution.

It's strange to attack the health care initiative.

Their goal seems to be to prevent Obama from having a legacy... but most Americans won't see the effects till 2014... so the effort that they are putting into stopping health care seems to go against this agenda. A better strategy would be to call for investigations into Obama's birf cerfiticate.

Actually, they do. Did you ever read the preamble to the Constitution? It clearly spells out what the intention of the founding fathers was.

Considering that they are inheriting the debt run up paying for your free-loading ass I think you owe them much more than medical care.

I'm fine with a household making $300k a year paying an extra $166 a month in taxes. When my household earns that much money a year, I will be fine with paying that extra $166 in taxes.

These taxes won't go into effect till a few more years now, and when they get close, you can certainly pass new tax cuts to balance them out. Though that's an expenditure so you'd need to balance those tax cuts with cutting some actually expensive programs like defense. Go ahead, we'll wait......
