The Chargers fans calling someone other than Philip Rivers pathetic?

INCONCEIVABLE!

D'oh!

It's not a mistake. Thursday night games don't sell very well to begin with and the Chargers have a hard time selling out on Sunday.

Wear red. Everybody just wear red.

Isn't this the stadium that is famous for the brutal attacks on rival fans for wearing opposing team colors? And now they are inviting groups of them at a time?
So while some San Diegans are whining about the front office for this move, others are thanking them while plotting out their violence opportunity.

You're about 500 miles off of that place; SD fans barely show until week 7.

/Although the KC fans can see what a team that has won a playoff game since the second half of the Clinton administration looks like

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh,

We need to win games to sell tickets.

Plus here are your options of a San Diego Football Sunday:

A) Get up, deal with traffic, get drunk and tailgate, go to game, deal with traffic, home.

B) Screw traffic, go to beach, sit on beach, watch game, go home.

100 buck tickets? or 3 dollar specials at The Black Pearl?
-----
Green Bay in the middle of November, you only leave the house for TWO reasons on a Sunday:
1) Church
2) Football

Can you SPOT the difference...

Chargers fans call AJ Smith pathetic. We like Philip.

Isn't hiring Marty Schottenheimer and/or Norv Turner the non-vocal way of saying, "Hey, there are gonna be some good draft picks we'll want next year"?

They might as well ask opposing fans to come. Since the ticket guarantee went bye-bye, sold out games aren't a given, especially if the team starts struggling.

Also, I've gone to Chargers games many times in opponents gear ( I'm a Seahawks fan. Yeah, I don't wanna haar about it) and other than the usual drunk hecklers, I've never felt like I was in any danger. Not like the Raiders/Seahawks games I used to go to when they were in LA.

The best part of that story is the photo of the Stevie Wonder impersonator.

You know what dude? Fark you. Marty was an NFL head coach for 21 years and had only 2 losing seasons. Who else can say that?

Like San Diego is the only NFL city with other things to do. Good thing those shut-ins back east in NYC have the Giants/Jets otherwise they'd have no reason to go outside.

Christ. If the local team sucks for a decade or more, fine, I fully get tuning them out. That's rational.

But the Chargers fans? What more do you bozos want? They owned the division for a good 5 years and you still won't watch them.

And, what's his postseason record look like?
