What a stylized vision of a ComicCon trolley might look like.

This will have about zero impact for positive. We have one of the most pathetic light rail lines in the modern world. Come to San Diego. Where our trolleys will take you to parts of town you'd never ever want to live, stay, vacation at. Enjoy the visitors tax too. That way we can keep up this limp ass system in tip top shape.

You, sir, shall feel the wrath of my forthcoming strongly-worded tweet and/or blog post on this matter.

The fatties are usually balanced out by those with sunken chests who weigh 100 lbs soaking wet.

As long as you alternate them on the trolley, so it doesn't flip over.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

San Diegan living in Seattle, here. You have no idea how good you have it. Seattle's public transit system is buses (and not the earth-friendly kind, either), unless you're unlucky enough to live directly south of downtown Seattle. Our light rail system covers a whopping 14 miles on only one side of Lake Washington, from Sea-Tac Airport to downtown. God forbid you live or work in east Seattle (like, oh, I don't know, where Microsoft is). You're just screwed. It doesn't even go to UW. Meanwhile, in San Diego, you can go from Mexico to Oceanside using light rail and rail, and you can even catch a ride out to Grossmont or SDSU or the Q in East county. Hell, they've even got light rail going to CSU San Marcos way up in North County. San Diego's public transit isn't as robust as say DC's or NY's, but it's still pretty darn good. Hell, my mom used to take the trolley/train from Chula Vista all the way up to Solana Beach every day for ten years.

Meanwhile, back in Seattle, the 5 hasn't been paved in I don't know how many decades, and there are literally grooves in the freeway from billions of tires wearing it down. Seriously, I farking hate this shiat hole.

No thanks, I'll just drive.

// rode public transportation in SD before getting a car, never ever going back ... except to go to jury duty (where I drive to balboa park, park, then catch the bus the rest of the way because parking downtown sucks).
