Another woman, who testified that she also advertises massages on Backpage.com, said the same thing happened to her at the Dayz Inn down the street.

Is that the place stocked with genuine Panaphonics televisions?

The Dayz Inn. Because the Days Inn is such a prestigous brand, you just knew someone was going to counterfeit it.

Those women are lying, our service members can do no wrong, ever, and anyone who thinks otherwise should be ridiculed.

Way to show the flag guys. Nice job. Do you know how difficult it will be now for sailors seeking "legitimate" massages from back page.com, in a motel 6, from a "nurse" ?

Bunch of farking check valves

Except for all the internet stories about big gangs infiltrating the military and gang graffiti showing up in the middle east, that never seem to make it on to mainstream news for more than a day or two.

The Navy has nothing to do with it.

It's ghetto-fabulous folks knocking about whoring and robbin' and thieving and just being all just trying to get over on the Man. You know who the Man is. The NAVY is the Man and now they're going to ask The Man to get them off.

It's bullshiat.

It is more likely that a few loser squids decided to make up their own "gang" so they could manufacture street cred. I'll bet anything these 3 shiatbags have the most non badassed military jobs the navy offers. Mess cooks, supply, or non rated deck apes. If they were in an actual bad ass unit they wouldn't have the time to play 'gangsta'.

I'm not saying it never happens your way but I want the follow up info on these guys' day jobs.

Oh, these guys look like your bog average Dumb and Dumber crooks. My point was that recruiters' standards have been so low that we're back to active gang members, convicts, and troublemakers to fill out stretched out ranks, like the WW2 era, when the military was often a reform school for roughnecks. "Prison or military" was a very common court sentence back then. Without re-instituting the draft to get normal people back in, or stopping enough wars to be able to eliminate a lot of the troops, I don't really know how you can fix that.

What a disgrace.

Also, wearing your whites to court? Better have a bulletproof defense to go in like a blazing white Adonis-Thor bastion of purity like that.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan haven't been that big of a strain on the non SpecWar navy. The old cliche of "jail time" or service ended about the same time as the draft did in the early 70's. Bringing back the draft will make these incidents more common not less.

The WW2 era serviceman has been deified for various reasons by various interests but they were never the moral giants they would be portrayed as in popular culture since. There is nothing about the stereotypical Viet Nam soldier (or more recent) negative images that that the real life WW2 soldier isn't also guilty of (and on a much larger scale). Looting, execution of POWs, rape, drug and alcohol abuse, desertion and rape just weren't allowed to be reported back then. The only thing unique about the Viet Nam war was that is wasn't as filtered by military censors. There was an enforced death penalty policy concerning desertion back then and it still happened in droves.

Military service didn't set any criminal straight any more than just plain growing up ever did. A judge that sent a convict into the army instead of jail was only inflicting that convicts next criminal actions on some other community. As long as it wasn't in that judge's neighborhood he didn't give a fark. If nothing else it meant that that judge wouldn't have to see that particular scumbag in his court for another few years or maybe never if the guy settles down wherever the army dumps him.

The dropoff of recruitment standards predates the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan by more than 2 decades.

Guys, the victim is telling the truth about it being a legit massage setup. The nurse/backpage-cheap-motel-massage-artist community there is very straight. They don't drink, they don't smoke. Norfolk, Norfolk, Norfolk!

Annoys the shiat out of me too. There is much to a fine collection of fine men's shoes that one cannot ascertain from another source.

That's not nearly as superficial as it seems.

It's more along the lines of what those gang members are doing once they get home. Generic Law Enforcement (Patrol) aren't trained to handle tactical encounters, etc. Guys in the military who are also members of gangs, come home and begin teaching fellow gang members all of the glorious things Uncle Sam taught them.
