Well the wingspan of the bat suit is greater than that of a wing suit (at least it looks that way), and there's that guy who's convinced he can land one without a parachute...

Well, Bruce Wayne is a techo-geek, I expect there's more going on there than just gliding.

Ed Grubermann: That's his new suit? Really? That looks like shiat.

Kind of what I thought.

I hate to say this, but I'm just not looking forwards to another Batman movie. I like DC and I like a lot of their properties, but I want to see someone else. Bats has been driven into the ground for me. Same with Spiderman. I don't care if I ever see the new one. Those characters are wore out. Give them a break and try something different.

With DC and Bats, just do something else. Something fun with a great story. I was excited for Green Lantern but disappointed with how it turned out.

With Spiderman(see also Xmen, FF) the rights just need to go back to Marvel. The Avengers line of movies were, for the most part, fantastic and the Avengers movie was farking awesome. That's how it's supposed to be done. Quit dragging overused characters through the mud.

Probably an unpopular stance to take right now, but oh well.

I agree that Spiderman (fark the FF) should go back to Marvel, but unfortunately, the new spider-man was actually pretty damn good, so it's not going to happen. I, for one, am just grateful that they're finally making comic book movies with an ounce of thought put into them instead of the shiatty 80's and 90's comic book movies which were basically just a 90 minute commercial for toys and McDonald's happy meals. I'll take a million good reboots over 1 Batman Forever any day.

I hear you. That is nice. Even the Xmen movies were works of friggin' art compared to the last two Batman's, the Schumachers not the Nolans. I'm just burned out on Bat and Spidey. My boys wanted to see the new Spiderman movie but i'll probably make them wait till DVD.

FF could be fun, if they did it right.

My complaints against the FF have nothing to do with the movies (though they did suck ass), I just hate the FF. Batman and Spidey are my two favorite characters from DC and Marvel respectively, so as long as Schumaker isn't involved, they can release as many of those movies as they want. All that being said, they could definitely reach a little further into the bag of characters and pull out something just as likely to be a compelling movie, they just don't want to risk a flop because only a handful of fanboys have ever heard of (insert obscure comic book hero here). At this point, I demand a new Jonah Hex that is actually good and a Punisher movie that doesn't make me cringe every five seconds from all the overacting. I think if they could have combined The Punisher and War Zone, you'd have a pretty solid comic book movie that actually captures the character. Oh well, I'll just keep on dreaming.

/I'd love it of they made a movie from the villain's perspective

Batman could fly, but unfortunately he wouldn't survive the landing because his wingspan is too short, a group of science boffins have determined.

Many boffins died to bring us this information.

Take a deep breath and relax.

They're just using the movie as a way to explore basic science. No one is actually saying that the movie sucks because Batman couldn't really use that equipment.

I could understand this sentiment if you were talking about another farkin' reboot, but this is the third act of a trilogy. And, come one, it's not like Nolan bonked on the first two. I think that it's not too far to extend him just a little credit for the possibility that he can deliver something worth watching for the conclusion.
