A calmer, gentler driving-around-SF video was posted a few months ago (a 1955 Cinemascope tour of the city and environs). No drifting, no burnouts, but might be relevant to your interests if you missed it last time:

I bet everyone is happy to have to look at the rubber-stained streets for the next several months.

/they should make him scrub them off when he is done

Not everyone has as much sand in their vagina as you good sir.

LoneVVolf: Did they really close down an entire city so that hooligan could destroy 4 tires and a turbo?

Given the different camera angles and the fact that you don't see any of those cameras in the shots. I imagine they filmed it like a movie and set up each section and did multiple takes.

That and the car jumps around to different parts of the city that are miles apart.

Faker than Rick Astley's moves.

Looks like it was filmed primarily in the financial district and north beach on a Sunday morning. That part of town is about as dead as your typical office park on Sunday.

It always amazes me how clean SF looks in videos and pictures. If you go there, watch out for people poo.

/lived downtown for four years

Icetech3: Ok... after seeing ken block try to actually drive in WRC, nothing he does impresses me.. the shiat in these videos would make any drift guy shrug..

BTW... for anyone that doesn't follow WRC, its real rally racing.. not the stuff ken does in america.. and ken cannot hang with the men. he normally drops 1-2 minutes per stage, if he even finishes a stage without crashing..

Here he is unable to turn a corner in practice..

P.S. i have nothing against ken.. i just dont see the thrill of doing donuts over and over around stuff..
Ken in WRC... plenty more crashes if you search..

I honestly think that driving this car using the same techniques used in rally actually hurts his ability in those races. This car has more than twice the horsepower and with that you can pull off more stuff. Most of the crashes I have seen look to be him expecting the car to do something that it didn't, like break loose on a low speed corner in giving it full power or not having the power to direct the slide appropriately. The transition from one to the other must be rough, but I guess he gets paid more for this stuff in terms of sponsorship than he would if he stuck to his WRC eligible car.

This makes me want to put one of those retarded Monster Energy Drink stickers on my car, drive around like a teenage prick even though I'm over 30, do some meth and show up late for my construction job where I spend the day getting drunk and talking about getting laid, getting farked up and getting in fights.

I'd like to put him head to head with the last taxi driver I had in San Francisco.

During one part when something metal fell of, I could have sworn I heard Mal say "What was that?"

Ken Block has very talented drifting skills. Drifting is seriously difficult.... HOWEVER

A- I'm sure I'm sure I was unknowingly delayed and sitting in stop-and-go traffic because of this video.

and...

B- That's a Ford Fiesta like my cat is a space shuttle.
