Vince can have models or WRESTLERS. Trish and Victoria wanted to be both and they were good at it. There is a place for women's WRESTLING. I don't particularly miss the bra and panties matches. Hopefully [the wrestling] that is something Del Rey and Kong can bring back and hopefully Beth and Neidhart ride this wave to, what I think, will be a next boom of the women's division, oddly enough, with TNA leading the way. Hamada would be a steal for WWF.

I am just throwing ideas out there, I have no clue if they are good.

That's too bad. She was decent. Why did she leave or did she leave?

kenwastinger: I've been watching wrestling for 30 years. Raised on WCCW. TNA has it right now. Back to back impressive matches with hungry stars and feuds based on titles.

Every match leads to a match. Very little bullshiat (by modern standards).

amazing concept... two men fighting to establish which is the better at his chosen profession.

I thought about that after posting and that's a perfectly logical point.

Sheamus/Swagger: 1:52
Tag match: 2:15 (ish)
Clay/McIntyre: 0:35
Kane-Cena/Jerishow: 16:31 (including 6:10 of commercial interruptions)
Cara/Slater: 1:43
Slater/Backlund: 0:39 (counting from handshake to release of chicken wing)
Cole/Lawler: 0:56
Eve-Bryan/Lee-Punk: 3:18

Total wrestling time on show: 27:49 (21:39 actually broadcast)
Total time of show (approx., including commercials/intro): 129:00
Percentage of wrestling show devoted to wrestling matches: 21.5% (16.8% actually broadcast)

Tell you what... when the numbers guy does at PWInsider does his recap of this show next week, I'll look at it and see which of your numbers he agrees with. Although I do like the current choice of both numbers.

Can't wait for three-hour Raw.

Where they'll still give you 27 minutes of wrestling in the whole show (21, actually, if you don't count the commercial interruptions in total match time.)

Funny you mention, I was fully prepared to have to annotate the Sin Cara/Slater match to indicate that it only counted from when they came back from commercial, not actual bell time.

I think as an experiment I now have to do this again on Thursday.

It is so strange but it is like my entire perspective has shifted regarding TNA and WWE. TNA is the prime-time and WWE is the pretender. Sure, TNA will have its' awful moments (Eric Young) and WWE will have good parts (CM Punk) but on the whole the balance is entirely tilted towards TNA.

It's strange but it kinda feels like WWE ended for me when Rock pinned Cena, it was the last thing I cared about with the E. I just don't see anything ever coming close to that anytime soon.

TNA: Wrestling Matters!

...no, seriously, it does. They really weren't lying. They just started that campaign a little prematurely. But it really does matter now.

Yeah that campaign pissed me off but they have redeemed themselves.

DYI: And seriously... Kane as a face? Again?

Why must they ruin everything?

He is a wildcard. Not a face or heel.

SOLUTION FOR THIS shiatFEST MID-SHOW:

1: Edge comes out, destroys laptop, puts Cole through a table (just because) and is named interim GM for the week.

2: Ryback mistakes AJ for one of his designated jobbers and accidentally kills the shiat out of her. Mixed tag match becomes Bryan vs. Punk vs. Ryback in a lumberjack match, which ends with Bryan and Punk fighting each other all over the arena while Ryback destroys all the lumberjobbers.

NOTE: I'm not anti-AJ, it's just the fastest way to end this crap.

It's summer and most people are either away on vacation or enjoying the hot weather. Neither of these are like me.

None of these are correct. Super-short version: There has been a schism, and a lot of regulars are no longer here.

Is that why the facebook thing?

Yep.

There is certainly something to that. FNB is always reminding us of the summer of punk just a year ago and what Vince did to him and the product in general. Yeah TNA definitely stepped their game up and right now seems to be putting on a superior show. Look what they are leading with tonoight. The Crazy AJ crazy triangle

actually no, a lot of the regulars are pissed at a mod (I think his name is Tony)...and are protesting.

Coupled with the hot garbage that is Raw, and the uprising of TNA...they've taken their wrestling banter elsewhere.

Get rid of the divas (no one gives two craps about them) and get rid of the pg crap.

TNA has shown us that women wrestlers can be both good and exciting. It's the WWE Style and Senile Vince that prevents that.

Hell, TNA gave us one interview and one match with a female wrestler, and immediately had us caring about her and genuinely hoping she got her job. Seriously, less than 15 minutes of airtime and the fans were instantly on her side.

That there is good television.
