This is one of the few divorces I wish wasn't settled amicably. The amount of damage that she could've done to the CoS would've been epic.

I dunno. CoS isn't above kidnapping. Such a high profile one though would cause a hell of a lot of drama that they might want to avoid though.

As we reported, one condition Tom had for settling was "meaningful, significant" contact with Suri.

/and a strict non-disclosure agreement covering anything seen or heard during the marriage, I'm sure

Tom Cruise divorce finalized around the same time as Bieber is rumored to be single.

... coincidence? I think not.

Yeah; she must have had one heck of a hold over them to get them to skip hush-money and go straight for a hush-child. Leads me to wonder what she knows.

Would it be beneath the CoS to somehow have people commit suicide via 2 self-inflicted shots to the back of the head?

They also know their brainwashing. Somebody from the church probably decided that it would be less risky to poison the kid's opinions of her mother during Tom's visitation time.

And knows all the right moves. I think it went pretty much like this:

"Uh, Tom? Katie sent over a DVD for us to watch."
"Is it one of my movies?"
"No, but it's a video of you."
"Accepting a People's Choice Award?"
"No, not exactly."

Katie wins....

With such a quick settlement, TommyBoy coughed up a a hell of a lot more money than was in any prenup. He could not have Katie talk more about CultoS and expose its inner workings. The stuff that already came out made CultoS quite nervous.

TommyBoy also knows that anything happens to Katie or Suri....he and CultoS will be the first blamed....and neither can afford a big PR hit

So did Katie use a nanny-cam teddy bear to catch Tom polishing David Miscavige's bishop?

Or did she just use her phone to take pics of Mapother cuddling with his cabana boy?

Something along those lines would certainly explain Katie's brass balls in all of this and Scientology running away like scared puppies.

Go Katie.

Someday the truth will cone out.

Probably something more like, "OK, you get everything in the prenup, primary custody and I'll throw in child support, but I get 2 weeks a year and reasonable visitation and you promise to shut up and not take this to trial.. deal?"

They already tried hooking up Tom with Scientology actresses (they have them for their cult films) by having them send in audition tapes. But he didn't like any of them.

My friend just finished his divorce. Uncontested, they didn't have a boatload of property, pretty much an amicable divorce, and it took a YEAR

These asshats get theirs completed in less than a month?

I sure wish I was ridiculously rich

I usually don't care about what an actor/artist/whatever does in their personal life. I like all kinds of actors and musicians that are bad people.

But the Scientology thing? Yeah, I'm tired of it. It's so sleazy and ridiculous. I think I'm going to have to boycott anything that involves CoS members/followers.

Thankfully, that's pretty easy to do. Are there any members of the CoS with actual talent? Seems to me that most of the CoS's most famous members are has-beens or never-weres.

And for the record, Tom Cruise peaked with "Risky Business". Seriously.

Bummer, was hoping this one was going to get messy. Scientology has to stop, if it continues then in a few thousand years when the founders are only legends, it may turn into a global cult. Then they'll declare a holy land and start killing infidels. Gotta stop sky gods when they're babies, before they get too big to contain.
