I love it when an escape provides the winner - doubly so when it's a lone escapee. The footage of the guy in his team car going mental over the last 10km was awesome.

That was Marc Madiot, won Paris-Roubaix (The Hell of the North) twice, he's got a pretty impressive curriculum.

The crashes this year are crazy!

I remember when Greg Lemond chased down a breakaway all by himself. And they finished a good bit ahead of the rest. Lemond was nice enough to not even contest the finish, winning the stage didn't matter it was having the time that did.

for you Paris-Roubaix fans, this will be old news probably, but for those wanting to dip their toes, "A Sunday Day in Hell" is a great film.

I just like when they visit other countries. Switzerland looked nice. Too bad they're not staying.

My cable has NBC Sports Network but not NBC Universal, and here in Chicago NBC Universal is a broadcast channel, became that when digital started.

Probably because the names of the stage winners have been punny. First Sagan and now Pinot.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the number of TdF greens too. I hope it's more of a change of attitude than they punny names.

/Thanks for the greens Admins/Modmins!

Stage 6 was horrible for cycling fans with so many strong riders crashing out entirely or losing too much time from the pileup.

The weekend was better. Today's time trial was fan farking tastic.

I was wondering why cycling was on the sports tab, then I realized there is no "Getting in everyone's damn way and holding up traffic" tab.

/ I keed.
// mostly.
