It didn't seem like that long ago I remember hearing that he divorced the actress and married Patti. Boy, I'm feeling kind of old right now...

Pretty girl, and a cool dad indeed.

For an entertainment icon, he is refreshingly nice, down to earth and apparently pretty unimpressed with himself. Gotta hand it to a guy who goes out and does a 3 1/2 hr show after 40 yrs in the business. Small wonder he is loved by so many.

Which isn't really surprising considering what he has always been about, but I get your point.

Really cool indeed.

Only if you're doing it with the radio of love. Lights Out! Uh Huh.

Proud parents: Mother Patti Scialfa (L) and father Bruce Springsteen with Jessica after the 20-year-old competed in an equestrian show jumping competition last year

Bruce has gone far from his working class roots.

Nice.

Now this: Why, oh, WHY do two pretty cool people - Bruce and Tom Selleck - insist on dyeing their hair?

I'm younger than both, barely have any grey and STILL have more than both of them.

It just looks a little foolish.

EMBRACE your aging, guys; you'll enjoy the natural look and the womens will, too.

Look at the picture. The dude showed up in a suit. Not some Armani or Versace get-up...he showed up to support his kid in a "Dad suit." He wasn't there to be gawked at, eyeballed, seen, or make a statement. He went to be as low-key as it gets.

To me that says the guy is grounded, even if he is nowhere near the level of wealth from which he came.

If you had Springsteen's kind of money, and your little girl wanted to get into equestrian, would you deny her? I'd guess not.

Yeah, he's done really well for himself. But he's still a regular guy and has given a lot of money back to his community. He does a lot of charity work, he supports the working class still. I don't think he's strayed too far from his roots. He's a humble guy, he works hard to put on a great show for his fans.

Jessica is beautiful. Patti's looks, Bruce's coloring.

And jumping around on half-million-dollar horses and going to Duke. Well, damn, her dad IS the Boss.

Yeah, great Dad.

Tell that to his wife and kid in Baltimore, jack.

A 62 year old man lifting an adult woman off her feet? Most 62 year olds I've met can't lift a damned bowling ball, let alone 100-120 pounds.

/I'll be in my bunk.
