On a sort of related note (punk getting on its years) Showtime is playing "The Other F Word." It will make you laugh, it will make you cry. It'll make you say, wtf? Mark Hoppus isn't punk!

Wrong. Studio City is NOT Hollywood. It's in the Valley, and is home to CBS Studio Center.

Punk rock does whatever the hell it wants to. If you think punk is about the clothes then you were never punk.

It's funny how everybody respects old musicians and wants them to play until they can't anymore as long as they're black and play jazz or the blues.

Nobody ever told Eubie Blake to hang it up.

Hmm, I had a mirror knocked off my car in Studio City.

Though unless this guy's been at it for 2 years I doubt it's connected.

Vivid's only corporate-they film the stuff over in Sylmar/Chatsworth. I've been to Loudmouth-i dig their Jerry Lewis logo, you've got Caiotti Pizza, real good. Henry's Tacos, endangered, but I like 'em, from "People Like Us" & Vitello's where Rob't Blake had fun...

I don't think so. It's no different than Bikers, Country Folk (various), or any other stereo type that puts on a costume for fun. Everyone does it, to some degree or another. Punk rocks are just willing to admit it's a costume.

There's a reason I even brought up the Rolling Stones. I just find it weird to hold on to youth culture to that level at 50. No issue with old folks listening to music of their youth but the costume aspect is what bugs me, I don't care if it's punk, hip hop, heavy metal, whatever. At some point it looks lame. I don't see KRS One or someone like that (hip hop being my favorite genre) dressing like he was in the 80s. Then again, I guess it makes sense if you're still an active artist but this Casey Chaos moron and people like him are what I'm talking about, maybe it's time for this dude to grow up.

KRS was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. He was late because he was speaking and Harvard. They cut his mic and he hopped down on the floor
And kept rapping, inviting the audience to rap with him and break dance. Amazing experience.

If you're drunk and you get in a minor car accident, it's in your best interest if you can flee without being captured. Even if you're identified and charged with hit and run (property damage/no injury), your sentence will be significantly less than DUI accident (at least in California).

Definitely need to see him live before he stops touring, no one personifies what hip hop is really about better than him.

I love my little CR-V, and the fact that it has an emergency picnic table built into the cargo area, but I don't think I'd try hitting fifteen cars with it. I'm not sure I'd try taking it over a curb, honestly, but it's awfully nice for hauling my little boy and all our gear around in.

As a 41 year old extremely active participant in punk and metal, I love seeing older people keeping it up. Now having a drunk driving spree is not what I'm talking about, but traveling and touring and listening to killer music and not feeling like you have to mellow out cuz The Man says to is. That said, Nomeansno is one of the best bands ever, and I'm really smart and up on music so yeah.

That is a golfcart. Try again, with something made from a Detroit-based automaker.

T.M.S.: Last two were a Jeep GC 5.7 Hemi and before that a Range Rover. I would post the list of mechanical problems I had with those cars but it would crash the Fark servers.

Not sure how you can crash a server with a null set.

dennysgod: Honda's been making SUV's since 95, where have you been subby

Perhaps Subby drives an actual SUV, not an oversized golfcart. Something with a thunderous engine growl and a bit more than an I4 or turbo'd I6 under the hood.

/Not subby, but I sure agree with them.
