Here's a news flash, PETA:

Dogs could care less what color their fur is. They don't endure any stress from dye jobs beyond finding themselves covered in a new scent. These are creatures that will roll in shiat or roadkill to pick up that scent. They don't care, and neither should you. Go back to killing strays in your shelters, hypocrites.

Maybe she should turn her dog over to PETA, as they will surely take care of it.

NateAsbestos: KrispyKritter: PETA was always there for me to take my contributions. but one weekend when i needed their help with a hurt bird situation i learned there is no live person answering any phones. screw PETA, screw them right up the A.

gottdammit i hate people so much every day it's a new challenge not to kill someone.

So it's probably been covered but:

The people who run PETA are demonstrably awful people. If you want to donate money to animal causes go with the ASPCA.

Even better, donate to your local SPCA. More of the money will go directly to helping the animals instead of going into advertising and the like. The one here in NOVA has been pretty great. They still remember the cat I adopted three years ago and love it when I just send them some pictures. They're always super grateful for anything (time, money, supplies, etc.) that you donate.

downstairs: Yes it does. Animal lover, PETA hater myself.

Same here. I do not understand how anyone who loves animals can support PETA, unless they are completely ignorant to PETA's operation. All these "holier than thou" entertainers seem to fit that description.

Thank you for that. PETA is the very last organization that should be talking about animals. They are a disgrace. I can not respect anyone who supports PETA.

FTA: "What most people don't know is that dyeing a companion animal's fur can cause the animal stress and can lead to complications or allergic reactions that endanger the animal's health," a PETA spokesperson told

I seriously doubt that the animal is any more stressed than having to go to the groomer or the vet. There are dyes sold especially for these types of shenanigans that are safe for pet use. Personally, I see this as probably no more stupid than dressing your dog/cat up in, say for instance, a pirate costume at Halloween.

I have a little faith in my fellow man to believe if this was harmful it wouldn't be done. At least not by celebrities who probably pay a lot of money for it.

Seriously, PETA, can you not talk? Can you just sit quietly in the corner for a little while?

/pink poodles are stupid, not cruel.
