This. I buy bandaids at Costco because of my cat, and that is when I'm not intentionally provoking him. I can't imagine the shredding I would get if I tried to manhandle him while singing badly.

One morning I was singing Kyu Sakamoto's "Ue wo muite arukoo" (known as the Sukiyaki song) and my cat came by, started chirping, purring and cuddling like mad. So, that evening I sang the song and he came running.

Every night for the next five years, when I sang the song, he came running.

At the end, his body made war upon him. On his last night on Earth, I pushed a bowl of tuna juice toward him. He weakly lapped some, and I sang the song to him. He purred, just a bit.

It gets stranger. A female stray came into my life one rainy March night, and she had this cat's face. For a while, she came when I whistled the song "She", but then I sang "Miagete goran, yoru no hosi wo" by the same artist and the new cat showed up, again showing great affection.

The story ends abruptly; her companion cat is extremely needy and if I make any musical sounds whatsoever, the other one is literally in my face. By the Sunroom Treaty of 2010, the other one has right of first refusal as I am part of her territory.

WHY WAS THE CAMERA SET UP OR WHO WAS RECORDING THIS??

I liked the drunk/arrested Bohemian Rhapsody video a bit better because it was 100% legit without skepticism.
