It's indicative of many people in Florida that one of the worst insults they can think of calling someone is Atheist.

You're crazy, it's clearly the other guy's fault.

Pinellas County is the Florida of Florida.

JerseyTim: Pinellas County is the Florida of Florida.

Oh come on, we're not even half as bad as Pasco. Our biggest problem is all the white trash in the surrounding counties comes here for the beaches and brings their meth with them. This primary is only bad because both guys feel entitled to the position and can't believe they're being challenged for it.

How can you expect the sheriff to enforce God's Law if he doesn't believe in God?

/obviously I'm referring to the Christian God here, not one of those heathens.

One of the derpiest push-polls ever conducted was for a low-level Republican primary in Florida. One of the questions involved insinuating that a candidate was personally responsible for the fact that colleges charge a fee for application. Of course, it was subtly phrased as, "Would you be more likely or less likely to vote for Candidate X if you know that she supported forcing Florida colleges to charge an application fee?" The sad part is, almost everyone I talked to said, "That would make me much less likely to vote for her!" Only one guy said, "It wouldn't make a difference--every college in the country already charges an application fee."
