I like the batman stuff for all the gadgets and fight scenes and stuff. Like the same reasons I'd go check out yet another James Bond movie. But this dressing like a bat thing is starting to look kinda childish. I'd like to see Alfred suggest that he try going out one night without the pointy ears. Just to see that he will still be ok without them.

Think about it.

The things he has done to Juice Box would make a grown man shudder.

Good jorb, Senator.

You realize he probably spent about 4 hours on set at best. But go ahead, RAGE ON, guy who also probably uses something called vacation from time to time.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I would totally do things like this if I was a powerful politician.

Ok, cool.

Actually, I was referring to him being a Deadhead....hanging with the band....and his love/involvement with comics. I didn't really read about his politics - just that he was one.

I might have to revise my opinoin.

I seem to remember Bill Weld when he was Governor of Massachusetts taking time to announce the Grateful Dead at the Boston Garden.

Someone asked him why he would make time for this he answered it was because he was the Governor and he could.

I can respect a guy like that. He's a fan and because of that he got a chance to do something he likely never would have. Good for him.

Why would a current US Senator appear in various adaptations of Batman?

Because he was offered the chance. Wouldn't you take the rolls if you were offered? "I'm going to be in the farking Batman movie!" is a reason to spend a day or two on set.

It would be funny if in a few years it comes out that he has dementia or something. He could write memoirs about how as an important US politician he felt the same responsibility of Jim Gordon and the rest, and he totally knew Batman was Bruce Wayne but you couldn't drag that info out of him, no sirree.

one mof my favorite memories was back when the Panasonic 3DO came out. I was checking it out at Circuit City, and they had a display set up with an MPEG decoder card installed. They were demoing the 3DO with a vcd of "Heart of Ice".

this was of course before DVDs and such nonsense. I almost bought one then and there.... until the 700 dollar price tag brought me back to reality.

Went across the street to Babbage's and bought a Sega Saturn. BLUE, BLUE SKIES!!! BLUE BLUE SKIES I SEE! I WANNA FLYYYY SKY HIGH!!!!! LET'S GOOOO TOGETHAAAAA! DAYTONAAAAAA!!!!

I've been trying to think of a way for Mark Hamill to be the Joker in live action.

I'm against that. Mark Hamill is one of the greatest voice actors EVAR but he's a terrible live action actor. He knows his strengths.

The animation of the first season may not have aged particularly well, but it did from season 2 onwards, and the voice acting and writing for ALL the seasons is still top notch to this day, better in fact than damn near anything on tv today that doesn't air on HBO or AMC. Don't know where you pulled that "forgiving memory" shiat from. That show is still a great watch 20 years later.
