I wish I had done that.

That was excellent.

That's pretty good. Considering when he was 12 he had the idea, and probably had a rough script worked out already.

When I was 12 I was just trying to find new Sears catalogs with different bra models than the ones I had all year.

You did Quaid.

We erased that memory when you were a teen and gave you your new identity. We also changed your name because Miss Penniwinkle seemed a little emasculating and would detract from your mission.

Our reasoning, your mission, and what you have to do? This will all become clear to you when you are reincarnated as a marmot.

Just remember "Get the peanut" "Get the peanut" "Get the pea..."

Ditto. I feel like I've wasted my life now.

Ok, genius is coming out.

Amazing that he went from full-blown autism as a child to what appears to be a somewhat well-adjusted adult. Kudos, I guess.

I have pictures of myself when I was 12.
That was good enough.

I have pictures of a 12 year old.
It'll have to do.

Would've vastly preferred to see the original video of the 12 year old by itself without all the forced edits and bad acting of the older version.

If that was done for real it would be a really awesome archive. A teacher could set up a video system and have kids in the class ask themselves questions about the future, and file it away somehow. There's a good chance a few of them would actually get around to giving genuine answers in the next 25-35 years and you'd edit it back together and have kind of a weird, chilling expression of shattered dreams, unexpected realities, lives gone off the rails, and a very interesting viewpoint of the experience of life.

That was pretty cool.

Also impressed about the advance scripting...or at least smart enough to give himself some option.

Upon seeing the ▸▸ montage of his theatre reel, I expected the pretentiousness to ooze forth unabated.

I was wrong in my thinking, and believe that this guy possesses legitimate foresight and budding genius . Or, he possessed budding foresight and has legitimate genius. Regardless, I want to see what he does next...

I want to see the rest of the years in that quick 'years montage' in the beginning!

/also, good find subby. cool.

Part of me found myself in a dusty room when he saw his old drawing and realized there was this whole world he used to be a part of but not anymore. It got me, man.

The new him looks a lot like the Van Gogh hanging on the wall in the background.

Brilliant idea and very good execution. I'm saving this to favorites.

Because an unedited stream-of-consciousness VHS tape from a 12 year old during the Clinton era would have been so fascinating.

That's a pretty good drawing of a cartoon rabbit, especially for a 12 year old.

My HS teacher had students write letters to themselves as freshman and then mailed them during our senior year. Even that was a little weird.
