No response to actual question. Check
No response to main point of actual linked article Check
Provocative response designed to move discussion away from question of Teaparty tactics and back on to talking point. Check
Pulls one sentence out of article assuming talking points "truth" while evidence of Teaparty planning to attack SEIU protesters is available with a simple google search. Whose the Thugs? remind me again.

It seems you only have the one talking point. I'll put this plainly. Were the Teaparty/ Freedomworks/ Glen Beck strategies ok to use when they were against the ACA?

Hmmm, you don't understand what a Tu quoque fallacy is, now do you? It appears not, that is sad.

/history commons link? lulz, my word, are you a truther too?

Still no response to the question. Check.
Improper use of logical fallacy to attempt to get away from the question (I didn't accuse YOU of thuggery) I asked if you thought the tactics used by the Tea Party were correct or not. Check.
Use of guilt by association fallacy to discredit linked article. Check
Fine here is the raw footage of the fight.

Zombie Butler: Improper use of logical fallacy to attempt to get away from the question (I didn't accuse YOU of thuggery) I asked if you thought the tactics used by the Tea Party were correct or not. Check.

Oh dear. You REALLY don't know what a Tu quoque fallacy is. No wonder you keep using one over and over and over.

And your "raw footage" of the fight seems to be from 2009 in St. Louis?

The SEIU assault was in Ohio just a couple of days ago.

You might want to "check" on that, perhaps keep a "check" list so you keep up with the discussion?

/He seems to think that saying that the Tea Party from 2009 is every bit as bad as the paid agitators from the SEIU from 2012. He seems to think this is a good argument. He seems to think I give a flying fark about the Tea Party. He seems as if he is not very smart. CHECK!

Lorelle: Coelacanth: According to a source on Tumblr, Richard Brysac is a dentist.

I used to know a dentist like that. He had a bunch of clinics in the poorer sections of Los Angeles. He used to boast about ordering his people to water down the painkillers.

Was it Dr. Beauchamp, the dude who did laughable Spanish commercials to advertise his clinics in the really bad parts of town?

"Tengo ser su dentista" ("I want to be your dentist") was pronounced "Tango sair soo dentistuh!"

Naw, it wasn't him, although I have heard of Dr. Beauchamp (from what I heard, he made chiropractors look respectable). The guy I used to know had a name that sounded like "lighthouse". I used to watch his lakeside home for him in Lake Arrowhead. Whenever he threw a barbeque, he'd get drunk and he'd start telling his guests about all the 'colored people' he had tortured that day. But don't worry. Karma charger got him goooood!

Don't Troll Me Bro!: I know it's true, but it wouldn't bring back his ability to chew food, or talk to the grandkids, or any of that other stuff that gives him what little glimmer of light that is left in his wretched existence.

I'm pretty sure that glimmer has already faded, leaving only his contemptuous distaste for the libs. And his desire to stick it to them. And to use bland idioms to explain his opinions and to rationalize his behavior.

I'm pretty sure the best use of this man is as a warning to others that being a little shiatstain about things doesn't help anybody, least of all you.

I hope he spends the rest of his days combing through angry letters sent en masse from every union in the country looking for that one bill he is worried about paying late. I hope he becomes more and more convinced that the unions are terrible, and that he becomes more and more alone in this conviction.

Well, maybe not hope. It would feel a little more like justice then.

Oh dear. You REALLY don't know what a Tu quoque fallacy is.

And neither did you, until you recently looked it up after being accused of using it in an argument. Here are the facts little brain:

1. This older man assaulted the younger man because the older man didn't like what the younger man was saying.

Done. Period. If you feel that you have to white knight the older man because he's on your "team" that's your problem, but the fact of the matter is that the older man used violence to stifle free speech, something I thought everyone agreed was futile.

So what did that spawn? Even more speech, and I won't stifle your ability to let everyone know what a dumbass you are. Since you are a dumbass, and you've proven that you're a dumbass to everyone reading this thread, I'm going to put you on ignore since your opinion is as the old cliche goes, just an orifice producing shiat.

So are you saying that you agree with the Tea Party tactics then. The fight was the one referenced in my first link.

halfof33: HellRaisingHoosier: You know, as an American who has never registered for a political party and has voted for more Independents and Republicans than Democrats .... your posts come off as pretty one-sided. Both sides are doing the same stupid things.

So you are saying you'd like my presentation of facts better if it was accompanied by a Tu quoque fallacy?

I'll certainly consider that.

Thanks for your input.

Just letting you know that because you are not stating your argument properly. You are getting a lot of flack because people here are perceiving you as ignorant or unwilling to acknowledge the actions of your own political party.

Both sides are bad so support Tea Party amright? ;)

You liked it so much you posted it three times?

I am kind of surprised how many people here went to the B-b-bu-But Tea Party logical fallacy.

How about the b-b-but you don't get to silence speech you don't like with farking assault.

I don't like what you're saying, but I'm not going to commit battery to silence you. I could shout over you, which would also be a dick move. Or I can ignore you, which is a naive move since you're probably paid more directly for this kind of activity than any union thug who ever thugged.

So instead I'll point out that your obsessed, bordering on psychotic about the actions of a guy who engaged in a legal time honored tradition in favor or barbarism. That makes you pretty reprehensible really.

"He raped her!"
"Yeah, but she called him a mean name while he did it."

Face palm. No, that is not what I am saying at all. You sure you know what you are doing here, sport?

So you agree that the Tea Party was in the wrong when they did it too then right?

And at this point I don't even care who's "right" anymore. This guy and his shiat are insufferably sanctimonious. What did you crib your style from youtube comments about a video of a guy playing call of dooty?

That is because the mopes are too farking stupid to realize that it is a farking worthless logical fallacy.

If I had said something about the Tea Party? Then sure, fair game.

But I did not, and you know why? Because I dislike the farking Tea Party about as much as I dislike the farking thug unions like SEIU and the public employee unions.

And all these jokers have proven is that SEIU uses the same tactics as the group they hate, the Tea Party.

Hoisted by your own petard.

Lord have mercy, that's all you had to say.
What I hate is freedom of speech being suppressed by physical means. I merely asked you the question to see if you were a hypocrite. You aren't, well good for you, at least that's something.

In other news, halfof33 is perfectly fine with and supports people committing assault, as long as the assaulter is a replublican or a teabagger.

2012-07-06 05:17:34 PM
Assault and battery is never a proper response to someone protesting, no matter how right you think you are or how wrong you think they are. I can't believe some people are defending this kind of thing.

Actually I did read the thread - you never once claimed what the teabagger did was wrong in any way whatsoever, you just tried to make him an innocent victim and a hero.

I'm trying to guess whether you have reading comprehension problems or are simply a trolling douchebag.

/right, could be both...
//I'm pretty sure I said it would have been groovy if he got charged. Of course, the paid agitator would have had to admit that he was a paid agitator, and he doesn't have the stones to expose the intentional manipulation funded by the SEIU, so we both know that ain't gonna happen.

If it had been an evil, liebral union thug who did this to a poor, defenseless patriot, you know Faux News would play it every hour on the hour for a week, then twice weekly at least until the election. Then they'd haul out the clip on special occasions forever afterwards. Sean Hannity would probably have it playing on an endless loop on his tombstone. The patriot would do the rounds of Faux talk shows and at least 3 people would set up funds in his name to help him get over the terrible assault and the hurt feelings that resulted. Rmoney would mention him by name when talking about Obama's untamed, unwashed, unmoneyed masses. He might become this election's "Joe the Plumber" and end up with a small Wiki entry.

Since it was the other way around, few will talk about it and nothing will happen.

Unless the old barstid is on the receiving end of internet payback. Which I'm not advocating. At all. That would be very bad. Though the old fart's tortured whining about mean old liebrals picking on him would be toothsome.

You forgot to mention how Fox would then accuse the other 24 hour stations of covering it up and they would puss out and jump on the bandwagon. They are literally controlling the national discourse through bullying. Fark Faux news
