Snarcoleptic_Hoosier: Dear Ethiopia,

Every year, we have a choice between feeding one of your villages, and having one man eat seventeen times the recommended caloric maximum on national television. Guess which one we picked. Again.

Love,

America

Skywolf Philosopher: FloydA: Dear ESPN;

Eating hot dogs is not a sport. Stop it.

Yours sincerely, FloydA

I came to say this. But in America, most people think eating is a sport.

And why not? Many of them sweat while doing it.

OneBrightMonkey: I'm going to defend this as a sport.

Any fatass can run a slant pattern, but I'd like to see Megatron take down 68 dogs in 10 minutes.

Think about it. It takes physical endurance, pain tolerance, strategy and discipline to be good at eating all that stuff. Most of the contenstants are svelt and work out a lot.

I'll bet you Michael Vick could take down 68 dogs in 10 minutes.

FloydA: Rann Xerox: Can he eat 50 eggs?

Nobody ever eat fifty eggs.

CSB time:

A competitive eater used to come into the restaurant where I worked from time to time. One day we got to talking about how he was going for the hard-boiled egg eating record the next week. I saw him a couple of weeks later and asked how it went. He said "Mmmmwwwaaaaaannnn". And then his wife told me about the stroke he had right after the attempt.
